About

The History of Pierce Pop Art

Pierce Pop Art's story really begins with a personal love for video games and pop culture, both present and nostalgic. Bruno Pierce, Artist and Owner, has been playing video games since he was about 4 years old. Born in 1987, a child molded and influenced by the 90s, Bruno has a love for classic and retro video games including Mario, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Growing up with Nintendo 64, he began playing Goldeneye 007, which led to a lifelong love for Shooter video games including Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Gears of War, DOOM, Call of Duty, and more recently, Overwatch and Fortnite. These video games have influenced Bruno's design, artwork, and passions leading to the creation of Pierce Pop Art.



We, Bruno and wife, Nicole, founded Pierce Pop Art in 2015 with a couple stickers and fuse bead projects sold at a local craft boutique. Bruno transformed pixel sprites from popular video games into unique fuse bead creations, while Nicole managed the sales, bookkeeping, and marketing. We honed our craft with a distinct style of perfectly fused beads with a glossy look developed by testing different types of high heat resistant plastics.



In 2016, we opened an online shop via Etsy. The listings consisted mainly of fuse bead projects and a couple stickers. After a few shipping errors and mediocre sales from the fuse bead projects, Bruno introduced a series of new sticker designs that boosted sales and expanded our inventory. With a flood of new ideas and new orders. Bruno began to create more designs with new stickers being added each month.



By September 2016, we phased out our fuse bead collection, reserving them for booth and brick and mortar shops only, and focused solely on creating new sticker designs.



In the Spring of 2017, we were invited to sell our designs on Amazon Handmade.



In October 2017, we launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund our enamel pin designs and raised over $1600, 400% over our goal.



Pierce Pop Art currently has over 1,236 orders on Amazon, and Etsy has over 618 sales and over 150 5-star reviews. We <3 reviews! We expect to see these numbers grow exponentially with new designs.



Presently, we are working on new stickers and enamel pin designs, as well as obtaining funding for our upcoming projects. Thank you for letting us share our passion. Enjoy.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital downloads
  • Items on sale
• Stickers cannot be returned/exchanged if they have been peeled, used, or damaged.
• All return shipping is made at the expense of the buyer. No exceptions.
Payment
PayPal, and all major credit/debit cards accepted.

Packages will not be sent until payments have been cleared.

Payments are expected within 24-48 hours of placing your order. In the event of a non-payment, a friendly reminder email will be sent regarding your order. If payment is not received within 48 hours, negative feedback will be left on the buyer and the listing will be revoked. Pierce Pop Art does not deal with non-paying customers and will not sell to said customers again.
Shipping
We have expanded our shipping options to include rigid mailers OR bubble mailers with tracking info included.

Q. WHERE IS MY ORDER?!
A. Standard USPS shipping (without tracking) may take longer than expected. The deliver by date is merely an estimation. Packages can sometimes get held up due to influx in mail during peak seasons. If you have not received your package within 30 days of confirmed shipping, please let us know. Please wait the full 30 business days before contacting us regarding your package, should it not arrive within the designated 3-5 business days. Please note: The Amazon "deliver by" date is merely an estimation and not a guarantee.

Q. WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER
A. Tracking numbers are provided for those who choose our "Expedited" shipping option via Amazon, and our shipping upgrade on Etsy. We also provide tracking for orders $15 and over.

Standard USPS tracking is $3.50 and is, unfortunately, not available for the standard shipping price of $1.25.

Q. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RECEIVE MY PACKAGE?
A. If you haven't received your package by the "deliver by" date, don't worry. The "deliver by" date is merely an estimation and not a guarantee. Packages sent by standard U.S. Mail can take up to 30 days to arrive due to unforeseen circumstances and/or during peak seasons.

If you haven't received your order within 30 days of your order date, please contact us.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR "PATIENCE POLICY" ALL ABOUT?
A. Our "Patience Policy" allows time for the U.S. Postal Service to deliver your parcel in the event you choose our standard shipping option. For the most part, USPS is quite reliable and fast, typically delivering our parcels within 3-5 business days. However, packages have been known to arrive 30 days past their intended delivery date. Therefore, we request that our customers wait a full 30 days past their order date before action can be taken to rectify lost packages.

This policy was developed to protect our small business from excessive losses and potential fraud, as well as to allow for time for parcels to arrive before orders are reissued. If orders need to be reissued, a tracking number will be provided to monitor delivery.


IMPORTANT: We are a small business and missing orders eat into our profit and cost us a lot of money. Customers who abuse our policies will be reported to Etsy and will be blacklisted from doing further business with us.

All items are packed with proper packing materials to ensure a safe arrival. If you have any issue with the arrival of your products, please don't hesitate to reach out so that we can make it right!

Items in stock are shipped within 1-3 business days. Our current shipping days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

All Pierce Pop Art pieces are shipped undamaged; if your package arrives damaged, immediately take a picture and open the box to ensure your artwork is not damaged. If you notice any major damages (please note that occasional nicks and blemishes may occur on handmade work) take a picture and send it to me so that we can work out a compromise with either USPS or between the seller/buyer.

Each listing comes with one of the displayed stickers (unless otherwise specified in a sticker or gift pack). We also throw in an additional sticker of some sort based on availability.
