Shiny Happy People is a lifestyle brand that seeks to engage, delight, and maybe even surprise. We make pretty playful things using organic and natural materials so that our creations aren't just people-friendly, they're earth-friendly too!

We're a husband and wife team based out of Chicago where we're living the dream. We bake, we bike, and we live it up by indulging in the simple things in life. David is a fine artist and teacher whose work can be found in galleries and private collections around the world. He's also in an edgy local band called New Oceans. Lydia is an accomplished designer, animal activist, and the woman behind, now retired, eco-friendly clothing line Pierogi Picnic. Together we're a creative powerhouse bursting at the seams with ideas!

We launched Shiny Happy People in the fall of 2015 after the birth of our little bambino. Struggling to find baby gear that was stylish, natural, and affordable, we were inspired to create our own brand of handmade goodies for babies, adults and beyond! Focusing on simple, and sometimes silly, designs, we are combining our love for quality products and sustainable living to create a unique collection that we hope will make you smile.
