Aqui está uma história de minhas criações.
Cresci coletando praticamente qualquer coisa em que as pessoas ao meu redor não encontravam valor. Eram coisas velhas, objetos e joias que me pareciam mais preciosas do que meus brinquedos novos. Quando parei de brincar com esses brinquedos, eu sabia que havia algo muito especial nessas "coisas velhas". E naquela época eles tinham idade suficiente para serem chamados de "vintage".
Graças à minha avó que era uma grande colecionadora de joias e, portanto, naturalmente a maior pessoa influente para o meu amor por joias, comecei a fazer minhas próprias joias personalizando peças vintage que eu vinha colecionando.
Todos pareciam tão estranhos.
Eram todos imperfeitos, o que eu imediatamente senti algum tipo de perfeição. Havia algumas peças quebradas usadas, e elas foram misturadas com novos materiais.
Fazer uma peça conectando cada objeto um ao outro por uma cadeia simples era como se eu estivesse tentando fazer uma história juntando pedaços da história.
As correntes que se conectavam a essas memórias se tornaram um caminho.
Em seguida, a peça final foi mais uma vez um objeto completo e vivo.
Este foi o começo da minha descoberta de certa alegria que eu recebo quando eu dou re-nascimento ao meu tesouro de infância.
E sempre fui atraído por pedras, minerais e pedras preciosas.
Essas criações da natureza sempre me inspiram.
Seja uma peça reciclada ou original, eu sempre quero deixar um pouco de nostalgia e inspiração da natureza no design.
Para mim, a peça de joias tem que ter o calor do artesanato.
Tudo o que eu faço é cuidadosamente pensado através do design, feito à mão e feito com amor.
Só espero que as peças de joias que eu faço possam fazer a pessoa feliz e fazer muitas memórias com a pessoa.
Here is a story of my creations.
I grew up collecting pretty much anything in which people around me found no value. They were old things, objects and pieces of jewelry that looked to me more precious than my brand new toys. By the time I stopped playing with these toys, I pretty much knew that there was something very special in these "old things." And by that time they were old enough to be called "vintage."
Thanks to my grandma who was a big jewelry collector and, therefore, naturally the biggest influential person to my love for jewelry, I started making my own jewelry by customizing vintage pieces I had been collecting.
They all looked so funky.
They were all imperfect which I instantly felt some kind of perfection in. There were some broken pieces used, and they were mixed with new materials.
Making a piece by connecting each object to one another by a simple chain was like as if I was trying to make a story by putting pieces of history together.
The chains that connected to these memories became a path.
Then the finished piece was once again a complete one object and alive.
This was the beginning of my discovery of certain joy that I get when I give re-birth to my childhood treasure.
And I have been always attracted to stones, minerals and gems.
These creations of nature always inspire me.
Whether it's an upcycled piece or original, I always want to leave a little bit of nostalgia and inspiration from nature in design.
To me, the jewelry piece has to have the warmth of the craftsmanship.
Everything I make is carefully thought through out the design, handcrafted and made with love.
I only hope the jewelry pieces I make can make the person happy and make lots of memories with the person.
