The jacket is knitted from bottom up in flat, with 5pieces:Back, Left Front, Right Front and Sleeves(2) and after sewn together.
The stitches for collar are picked up and knitted at last.
(You can also knit it all in one piece if you prefer, but for better structure and less heavy for hands, is to knit it in pieces. For knitting it all in one piece, use long circular needle and the same instructions but cast on stitches for back an 2 fronts all together.
