My name is Bee and I'm the woman behind Pineapple Phi. I've always been creative and started making things at a young age. Through the years, I've jumped from medium to medium, before settling on woven and wearable art. Working with two different areas has allowed me to stretch the creative muscles, while developing pieces that are influenced by each other.

My style is ever changing - I bet yours is too. When I started my Etsy shop in 2014, I thought I knew everything and had perfected my style. But style, just like knowledge, should not be static. While I still love mixing uncommon colors and textures, an approach that got me recognized on social media and in print, my focus now has shifted to timeless pieces that stand up to time and surpass trends.

What I love most about creating is that the options are infinite and output is limitless. I never sit down with a design for a pair of earrings or a color palette for a weaving. Somehow the materials come together and the product is created. It gets listed in the shop and, hopefully, makes its way to your home.

When I'm not dreaming up ideas, I work full-time in higher education in Nebraska. Working with college students is my passion and going to the office everyday is one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
