Pinky designs was started out of a love for creating fun designs and items for our friends and family and has since evolved into an amazing opportunity to provide our products to you, our valued customers. Thanks to our wonderful customers and our strong commitment to them we have experienced tremendous growth and success!

In 2005; after exiting the corporate world, we traveled the country providing event photography services for BMX Bicycle racing. It was a wonderful experience and opportunity to spend time together and explore our inherent creativity for what was to come. it was During this time that we also acquired a large format Digital printer. The idea was to create decals, Banners, and large Photo posters for are existing customer base. It was welcomed success and opened new opportunities as well. We also began creating trophies and awards for BMX race tracks utilizing our high quality photos and new digital printer. These unique awards had a design flair never seen before and became an instant hit! The production and design of these awards took off in a way we never expected! In 2013 in an effort to bring another level of uniqueness we acquired a CNC plasma table to create custom metal shapes for the awards. This was a game changer and our sales skyrocketed! As our production capabilities increased we found ourselves creating more and more "Special Projects" for our friends and family. As the requests poured in we decided once again to expand our offerings. In 2013 we joined the Esty Marketplace platform. Initially we set out to offer printed and cut vinyl items produced on our large format printer. This Kept us busy and man it sure was fun creating fun designs for new customers! As cut vinyl wall decals became more and more popular driving our Esty business we decided to test the waters by creating metal cutout wall art using our CNC Table. It was an instant success! We were one of the first shops on Esty offering metal cut out home decor and wow the community loved it! Our Etsy business quickly grew as we added more and more options and eventually had to shift focus to metal 100% and abandon the printing side of things. In 2020 we made the decision to stop traveling and focus primarily on the metal decor business here on Esty. Although scary at first ultimately it was a great decision. As a bonus to our success here on Etsy our products have even been featured in "Better homes and gardens" and "HGTV Magazine". What an amazing experience this journey has been!
