Hoarder or Collector? You be the judge.

It all began in downtown Pasadena during the 1970's and 1980's, (before the God awful gentrification), where I would haunt the thrift stores and pick up minty vintage pieces from the 40's and 50's. Seeing a nice specimen has always made my heart go pitter-pat. It makes it a little hard to even breathe sometimes (the Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia can't help, either). You fellow vintage junkies/tachycardia sufferers know exactly what I am talking about. Over the years, after having children, I got rid of most of my vintage things. But during the last 10 years, my love of treasure hunting has resurfaced with a vengeance. Now my collection is bursting at the seams and I have to sell stuff just to keep my home habitable! I used to sell on Ebay, but I started feeling like some sort of prisoner, so I opened my own shop at pinky larue dot com. Then I got hacked and my host shut my store down. So, here I am at Etsy, trying to raise enough money to have my own site built from scratch. Although, I'm loving Etsy so much, I'm not sure I want to leave!
