Announcement   In our "soap kitchen" at PINNACLE HILLS GOAT FARM. we make "nutritious for your skin" home crafted Artisan goat milk soaps. We are a small sustainable hobby farm in NC, with a small herd of Lamancha Dairy Goats and Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. Please vist our FB page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pinnacle-Hills-Soap-Company .
Many of our soaps have ingredients like Olive oil, Coconut oil, Castor oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Sunflower oil, Argan oil, Jojoba oil, Hemp oil. All are healthy and safe for your skin. We use the old fashioned, cold processed method of making soaps and prefer to cure our soaps six weeks. Ingredients always listed. We choose to make our own soaps because of the health benefits of goats milk and to keep our skin from being dry and itchy. I use to have skin allergies and commercial soaps irritated my skin. That said, we love and absolutely use all of our own soaps. All orders come with a sample piece of one of our current soaps.
Our soaps are handmade in small batches, hand cut, shrink wrapped and labeled. Please give us a try, your skin will be happy you did. :) ♥
This year 2016 we are using mostly Essential oils and blends. I still use a few fragrance oils of the most popular sellers that I have had for a few years.
I am in the process of making most of my soaps without Palm or Canola oils, though I still have soaps in inventory with sustainable palm and canola. I am using clays and herbs and natural ingredients to color my soaps or leaving them uncolored.

(The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) is an international organization that represents fragrance manufacturers. IFRA takes the data and reports from RIFM, evaluates it and publishes guidelines for usage. IFRA will make recommendations for which raw materials are safe to use in fragrance oils. The suppliers I use follow IFRA’s guidelines and use only RIFM approved materials in their fragrance oils.
I use a few different recipes and the soaps that have palm oil I use a sustainable palm oil.
There are always so many questions about using Palm Oil. We buy from suppliers that source Certified Palm oil from members of RSPO. Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil. Production of Sustainable Palm oil is important.

Ordered this for a Christmas present, shipped super fast and the owner really cares about the customer. My mum loved this as it is one of her favourite scents. Would definitely order from her shop again.

About

I breed Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats and craft soaps using their Goat Milk.

I actually started raising and breeding Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats for the milk for home consumption. I later discovered goat milk soaps and how wonderful they were for itchy skin so decided that would be my new venture to bring $ back to the farm, I was putting the goats to work! Basic soaps were so much fun to make but it became more interesting and challenging to become a true soap craft artisan.
I started selling my soaps at a local Historical farm during its summer events, then the Farmers Markets (3 in Surry County NC) our soap sales really took off, I have built up some loyal customers locally and on the web, all over the US, Hawaii, France & England. When I looked for places to sell online and came to ETSY, I felt it was a good platform for selling my products from my farm. We also are selling from our farm's web site. www.pinnaclehillsgoatfarm.com
We are very excited to say it has been 8 years goat farming and 7 years making goat milk soap. As they say, Life is Good, Life is Sweet.

Hello, Welcome to Pinnacle Hills Soaps. We sell soaps handmade in our soap kitchen on our farm. Our milk based soap is made from our own Nigerian Dwarf dairy goat's milk. Our soaps are made the old fashioned cold process way with Goat's Milk and all vegetable, nutritious oils. We also offer a VEGAN NATURAL SOAP selection for our Vegan friends and customers. We use natural additives and skin safe fragrances, and essential oils. All ingredients are listed for every soap we offer.

Did you know that goat's milk has over 50 nutrients, minerals, acids and enzymes? Vitamins A, C, B1, B12 and E. Goat milk has a pH level similar to that of human skin.. It is gentle and soothing and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. Oatmeal is gentle and healing for sensitive skin. Olive Oil is for keeping the skin soft, healthy and supple. Coconut and Palm oils provide rich lather and gentle cleansing. Honey is full of minerals and vitamins and smells so wonderful in soap as well as increases the lather in the soap.
We make soaps by hand in small batches and may not have large quantities of every soap offered. Our soaps are made from natural ingredients. Our unscented is 100% natural and fragrance free for people with skin sensitivity. Our scented soaps are scented lightly with pure essential oils and/or fragrance oils (manmade scents) safe for your skin.
