Solidarity. Safety. Love. Acceptance. Tolerance. Peace. Unity.

These are the ideas we want to encourage. We will not stand for hate. Wearing a safety pin demonstrates to others that you are a safe place. You will stand up for those experiencing prejudice. You will fight for those who are marginalized. You will de-escalate. You will protect. You will offer kind words. You will seek to understand. You will take action.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

We have had request for specific words to be done in a similar style as our pins. We are open to doing custom words or names up on request. Your order does still apply to our donations to charities and cost may vary upon your request.

Sizing details

Sizing of all pins are listed in the descriptions of the each item. Necklaces come as a standard 20" length. We have put together an image of the different sizes we allow on our Pinterest page - http://pin.it/p9rvoKq If you would like to adjust the chain to any of these lengths, please add it in the notes of your purchase.

Does the jewelry contain nickel?

All of our products are made from stainless steel. Stainless steel does contain some nickel (10-14%). The pins are made from 316L stainless steel reducing the amount of nickel and increasing the quality. Reactions to nickel can vary from person to person, one of our main designer/fabricator who is allergic to nickel, has not had any reactions.

What does 100% proceeds mean?

This is an important question to us. The word proceeds has two different meanings depending on if it is gross profit or net profit. We are modeled on net profit. That breaks down roughly per pin to $5 to the maker, $5 to the company and $5 to charity. Anything left over for the company also gets donated. We are always working on ways to contribute as much as possible to marginalized communities. We believe it is important that our designers are making a living wage and cost of the materials are covered. In other words, any profit made by Pinning4Justice will be distributed to our selected organizations.

Can I suggest an organization?

We are always looking for organizations to support that represent marginalized communities. We are doing our best to research the organizations and connect to a variety of communities. Since Pinning4Justice's audience is very wide, we do our best to stick with organizations that are working on a national level.
