Rose looks beautiful, and is excellent quality. I ordered it as a wedding gift for my fiance, and it arrived on time for me to give it to her.

This all started with a little piece of our own love story.

We're a husband/wife team with a shared passion for making art. Our business has grown from a little coffee table project to an efficient workshop that takes over our entire garage. You can find a variety of metal items for sale in our shop, but our favorite pieces to create are pretty metal flowers.

This all started with a little piece of our own love story. The first metal flower Joe ever created was for our 2nd wedding anniversary. He was working as a welder at the time, and we had no money for gifts. He took scrap metal from the trash at work and welded it together into a black rose. It was the perfect blend of grunge and sweetness, and the most romantic gift I've ever received. (We will soon celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary!)

My favorite part about this whole thing is hearing the life stories of our customers. People give and receive flowers as a way to express their emotions, ranging from fluttery love to mournful loss. First crushes, double digit anniversaries, memorials--we have seen the whole spectrum and my heart aches and leaps alongside of those who share their stories with us. I am so honored that we get to play a small part in these heartfelt moments.

You guys seriously come up with the best ideas. Thanks for letting us be a part of your inside jokes, your love stories, your lives. Your creativity spurs our creativity and that is one of the things we love most about making art.

I enjoy designing items and watching them come to life. Transforming a piece of harsh metal into an organic shape tickles my brain like nothing else. I stay up late and get up early to do this. One day we hope to make art full time. With your continued support we will eventually be able to make that leap.

So far I have kept my day job because it lets me take more risks on my artistic ideas. We've made a wide array of art in wood and metal. Some things are popular. Others we enjoy keeping for ourselves. The more jumping-off-a-cliff unique we are the better response we get. One of our most popular rose colors is black. We like black roses, but we never thought anyone else would want to buy one. It is very exciting when art and customer finally find each other.

I hope to inspire others to pursue their own creativity. Creativity is the celebration of talent and passion. I have talked to many people that think they aren't creative just because they aren't artistic. That’s not true. You have a combination of talents that the world needs. Celebrate them.

  • Joe

Joe grew up in the woodshop alongside his dad and brothers. He also spent 3 years working at a structural steel company. When he isn’t in the workshop, he can usually be found furiously sketching new ideas on random scraps of paper.

  • Macy

Macy spent a few years as a secretary/receptionist, and loves putting those skills to use organizing, emailing, and packaging up orders. She likes to paint, doodle swirly things, and document her hilarious life in cartoon/comic form.
