Please measure your pet prior to ordering as all sales are final and no exchanges are accepted! It will save you more time and money to measure your pet before ordering, than it would be to set up an exchange, pay for return shipping costs, and drop the return off to the post office to send back to me anyway. So just take the extra minute to measure and read our sizing charts. If you measure your pet and are still unsure of anything; don’t hesitate to reach out for more help with selecting a size!
ORDER TRACKING AND SHIPPING DELAYS:
Shipping delays are rare but they can occasionally occur. This is not Piper Blue’s or any other shop's fault! Please be patient to receive your orders as it’s really all we can be. Plan ahead for any important dates you may need your items for. Delays are an unfortunate thing, but they are really no one’s fault as USPS workers can only work so quickly to get our packages to us! During busy shipping periods, tracking may not update for multiple days at a time. This is common and it doesn't necessarily mean that your package still hasn't been moving along to it's destination even if it’s not being scanned as it goes!
MESSAGES ABOUT SIZING: “My dog is ____ breed, what size should I order?”
I unfortunately cannot give you size recommendations just by going off of your pet’s breed alone. Dogs of the same breed can vary a lot in size, so I highly recommend that you measure your pet prior to ordering and to not just guess; as all sales are final! If you do have your pet’s measurement and he/she falls into multiple size options; I can then almost always give you some guidance if you need it (:

Almost any question you’d have can be answered from the information in there. Our most commonly asked questions are answered in our FAQ section too. If you read everything and did not get your question answered; then feel free to send me a message! Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Since all of our items are made per each order, we are final sale only and are unable to accept exchanges. We highly recommend measuring your pet’s neck prior to ordering to avoid picking the wrong size. The only reason we ever get inquiries asking about exchanges, is from those who didn’t measure their pets and just guessed a size! So just take that extra minute to measure your pet and purchase with confidence!
When will my order be shipped out?
When things aren't too hectic over here, I need about 5-7 days to create your order by hand and have it dropped off at the post office. During busier time periods, I generally need 1-2 weeks to create your order.
The timeframes above do not include shipping time. Our current processing time can be found at the very beginning of our "shop announcement" section, located at the top of our shop's homepage. Also, be sure to reference the estimated delivery date range given under the shipping tab of each item.
How long does shipping process take?
We ship tracked with USPS first class; and sometimes USPS priority for very large orders. US shipping generally takes 2-6 business days without any delays.
Delays are very rare; but they do sometimes occur from weather, high volume busy seasons, and other factors. We are not responsible for regular shipping delays that may occur. However, if your order has been stuck in transit for 14 days or longer; this is no longer considered to be a regular delay, so please reach out to me so that I can assist you!
My dog/cat is ____ breed -OR- My dog/cat weighs ____lbs. Can you tell me which size to order?
Unfortunately, usually we are unable to give a size recommendation based on your pet's weight or breed. We know the general size of many breeds, however each pet is unique and the size can greatly vary within each breed. Your pet's weight cannot determine their neck measurement size.
Having a neck measurement in inches is essential to ensure a proper fit! We never recommend guessing a size as all sales are final and we are unable to offer exchanges.
I don't own a soft measuring tape! How can I measure my pet's neck?
If you do not have a soft measuring tape to measure your pet's neck size, here are two other options to take their measurement!
1) measure the length of your pet's current collar against a flat ruler. Only include 1 side of the buckle into the measurement, and make sure that the collar is already adjusted to their current neck size.
2) take any type of string material you have at home(even an unplugged phone charger if all else fails). Gently wrap it around the base of your pet's neck and include a couple finger's space inside to ensure a comfortable fit. Keep track of this spot on the string and then hold it up to a flat ruler.
Do you offer buckle engraving or make harnesses?
I am very honored that you're interested in buying other products from Piper Blue! However, we unfortunately do not currently offer buckle engraving or any other products that are not currently listed in our shop!
