In my life before becoming a mom of three children and the economic crisis hit Greece, I worked as an architect, hiked mountains and ate a lot of cookies. I still enjoy cookies!!!

It all started with the birth of my first daughter (2012) which opened up a whole new world of nursery decoration and toys to me. I wanted to avoid things made of plastic and create a warm environment that would spark her imagination.

Fulfilling my need for design and creation, I started making collages on wood inspired from the magic world of fairytales, and so the heroes Pitsy and Ricky came to life: a playful little girl and her best friend Ricky, a dragonfly, who both love adventures. My daughter fell in love with them instantly and even today she is still my “quality control manager” as I totally trust her taste and instinct.

With the family growing there was no place for me and my cutting board, so I had to move to the small wooden shed in the backyard, which in the end became the entire family’s favorite place...

…The kids are in school, the food is almost ready…I can go to my workshop! The smell of wood and cookies, the sound of the radio... My favorite time!

Let’s see what we can do today… Elves, fairies, animals playing peek-a-boo, tree houses... The whimsical world of Pitsy and Ricky who love to travel in space, explore volcanoes and climb peaks. They poke their nose into everything and when the ride gets bumpy they hide in their nest: a tree house over a tall oak!

Oops, it’s already time to pick up the kids. How fast time flies when they’re in school. A last look, a smile and off I go!
