Creating beauty is not a choice, it is an irresistible urge & an undeniable passion.
All my life I have had a very strong desire to create. I love art, but can't draw to save myself. So when, in my 40's, I discovered computers and digital art, I was hooked for life.
I've done many crafts over the years and enjoyed them all. Right now I love making beautiful Jewellery and creating lovely graphical items for people to use in their scrap booking and paper crafts.
My health has not been so good since my 2nd husband tragically passed away, so having these two crafting loves, that both require you to be seated, has been a blessing for my creative soul, if not for my physical shape!
Painful arthritis and fibromyalgia can be very distressing, but it's easier to ignore the discomfort when lost in creating beautiful things.
Now, newly separated from my third husband, I live in rural Hawke's Bay, New Zealand in my beautiful house-bus, and are blessed by wonderful weather most of the time. My wee poodle, Skittles, passed away a couple of years ago, now I have a lovely Kitty Kat called Lily. I wouldn't be without her for the world.
The name, Pixie Treasures, comes from a business I had in Second Life where I built 3D whimsical homes, furniture & gardens for fairies and elves, which was enormous fun.
