For the Love of Clay and Maps (and buildings)

I fell in love with wheel throwing when I was 15 years old. In college, I studied art and architectural history, as well as cultural anthropology and archaeology. During those years, I rarely had time for a sustained studio practice.

After college I moved to St. Louis and became an active member in the Craft Alliance community. I rekindled my love of clay, took classes, met mentors, and began teaching ceramics to children and adults. I began putting my geographic, architectural and cartographic knowledge to use in my own work, and thus, Place Value Pottery was born.

I'm a mom of two little boys who keep me extremely busy these days, but I'm still finding time to sneak into the studio here and there.

Returns and refunds will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Do know that I put a lot of care into shipping and handling, but should the unexpected disaster occur, I will of course be willing to negotiate a solution.
Additional policies and FAQs
I would LOVE to create a custom piece for you.

If you want your favorite city/state/country/geographical occurrence on a bowl/plate/mug simply contact me and we'll talk!

Do know that custom orders can take 4-6 weeks to complete, as I am at the mercy of a community studio with an irregular kiln firing schedule.
