I am a tinker/hobbyist of Guitar Hero controllers and various products. My specialty is in Wii guitars, which offer the lowest latency available of any controller for Clone Hero purposes.

My method for meticulously cleaning/testing products includes:

1) Using each controller to ensure all external buttons work before opening the shell. (Gloves/hat worn during all internal work)

2) Testing all vulnerable/weaker internal components for proper electrical current with a multimeter. I place QC stickers on all tested components as I go.

3) Cleaning any debris including dust and stray hair, which could eventually compromise component integrity from the inside out. This includes touching up solder points that require a fresh dab.

4) After inside is clean, I put guitar back together and place a QC sticker over the warranty void screw slot, before working on external cosmetics. You won't need that warranty if you have me!

5) Any orders made before 6pm Central Time are carefully packaged and sent out the next morning at PO open. I usually pay at least $20-$22.50 to ship each guitar so we are SPLITTING SHIPPING COSTS AND I WISH IT WAS LOWER FOR BOTH OF US.
