About

Becoming bicraftual...

*************************
I've been a crocheter for close to half a century (gulp) and when I went through chemo in 2007 those hooks were a Godsend. I didn't have the energy to do anything very physically demanding, but I could crochet. And crochet I did! A friend introduced me to Etsy and I jumped in with both feet.

Since then I've had my original patterns published in magazines & even a book (Amazon - http://amzn.to/1UH9UDh) as well as several yarn retailers and yarn clubs.

This year I am working on taking my knitting skills to the next level - both for personal pleasure as well as being able to offer even more unique, quality finished items in my shop. Publishing knitting patterns are also on the radar for 2016.

When you're done browsing, please feel free to drop by my Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/playingwithfiber

I've had 2 other shops on Etsy (both inactive at this time):
www.TheCrochetedBaby.etsy.com & www.DigitalMagique.etsy.com

If you would prefer another shipping method, please let me know in the "Notes to Seller" section when you make your purchase. You may also email me directly at playingwithfiber [!at] gmail.com. I will find out the cost for your preferred method and notify you of any additional charges.

International Duty or Taxes

Please also be aware that as the seller I do not pay for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT) or import consumption taxes charged to you by your country.

The recipient of the merchandise may be required to pay the duty or VAT upon delivery. Due to import duty valuation adjustments and currency valuations, I am unable to provide an estimate for duty or VAT.

I am not able to mark international packages as "gifts" because it's illegal for me here in the United States. I will mark "merchandise" or "other" and the value will be the amount paid for the item/items not including shipping costs. Thank you for not asking me to break the law!
