Pleasantly Pinatas is Born
This all started with my daughter. I decided to make pinatas at home for her Bday. They were such a hit at the party I started having requests from friends and family. So I decided to open up shop on Etsy. You can also find me on Facebook by searching for Pleasantly Pinatas.
My pinatas started with paper mache pinatas, which I still use for the round pinatas - like the beehive (one of the top selling), baseball, golf ball and tennis ball. Since then I have grown to use cardboard for more shapely pinatas. I like to recylce items, like soda boxes, old shipping boxes and other items. Don't worry - I only use clean products.
If you have any special requests, please let me know. I love a new challenge.
Owner, Maker, Designer
I am from Kitsap County, Washington. I happened into pinata making by mistake and have enjoyed every minute of it. I love getting suggestions from customers and trying out new ideas.

Additional policies and FAQs
What is the difference between traditional and pull string?
Traditional pinatas are made to hit with a pinata stick. The pull strings are made with a strings hanging from the bottom. The kids take turns pulling on a string until the one string that opens the trap door to release the candy is found.
Do the pinatas come with a stick?
No our pinatas do not come with a stick. Although we will be adding an option to purchase a stick soon. Until then, you can purchase a stick at a local party store. If you forget, or just don't want to buy one, please remember not to go grab a stick from the woods that has any pointy branches that stick out.
Do the pinatas come with candy?
No, you will need to purchase candy and/or other goodies to fill your pinata.
How much candy will my pinata hold?
The pinata's hold various amounts of candy depending on which pinata is ordered. All of our pinatas listed hold enough candy to supply each kid at an average birthday party with enough loot for their loot bags.
How do I fill my pinata?
Each pinata will have an opening either at the top, back or side where you can stuff the goodies inside.
Each pinata takes approximately 3-4 hours to make. Our pinatas are all handcrafted and are not computer generated. For this reason, we would like at least 1 week before shipping. However, we understand people tend to order last minute and if we can fit you in, we will. If you aren't ordering 2 weeks ahead of your party, please message us to be sure we can fit you in. When order, please let us know your party date. We work as orders come in, but also prioritize by party dates.
What materials do you use?
It of course depends on the pinata ordered. Our round/oval shaped pinatas are made from paper mache. Our other pinatas are made from cardboard.
Will my pinata look exactly like the one in the picture?
We do our best to duplicate the looks of our photos shown. However, since each piece is hand made, there may be some variations.
I want a pinata but I don't see one like it shown.
Simply ask. Most of our pinatas to date have been by request. We love trying new things.
