I've lived in Macau for nearly four years, wandering the junk stores and sometimes into old people's home. The vintage firecracker labels have been handpicked with love. All the labels sold here were printed in the hey days before the glitzy casinos came in the 1970s, when Firecracker factories were the made trade in this sleepy village, the backwaters of Hong Kong.

My other weak spot is textiles and I buy and collect fabric on all my travels (pre-Covid days). I've taken up sewing in recent years and have been bringing my stash of fabric to life as an amateur sewist.
