Ribbons, trims and pretty things!

I absolutely adore ribbons, always have and always will. So as you can imagine I have amassed quite a collection of various trimmings, and I won't be able to use them all in my lifetime so I'm willing to share the crafty-love with you.

(Of course there are SOME ribbons I can't part with, I may not even use them myself - I just like to look at them!)

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
If you would like a refund, please contact me to arrange a return - returns are at your own cost - I recommend that you get a "Certificate of Posting" receipt from the Post Office (this is free of charge) for any items which are returned.
Once the item has been received I'll process the refund. Postage charges will not be refunded.

Custom orders cannot be refunded.

If you have received an item which is faulty or damaged please contact me before returning the item.

If you would like to exchange an item then please contact me first to arrange the replacement item and payment for postage of the new item. Please note that I will not dispatch any items without payment or until the original item has been returned. Returns are at your own cost - I recommend that you get a "Certificate of Posting" receipt from the Post Office (this is free of charge) for any items which are returned.
Postage charges will not be refunded and additional postage will be charged or deducted from refund due.

Payment
Payment is processed through Etsy, I do not receive your payment details and therefore I do not store them.
Orders are held by Etsy until payment has cleared, I do not receive your order until the payment is confirmed.

Shipping
I use Royal Mail for all of the shipments, I have had a fantastic delivery success rate with their service - the only delays I've encountered are at peak times or public holidays, and when incorrect or vague address details have been provided.

PLEASE NOTE that I am not responsible for items that go astray in the post, and thus I am not liable to cover costs or losses.

Tracking an Order

If you have not selected a tracked shipping option at the checkout then I cannot track your package.

If you want the reassurance of a tracked package then please select the correct shipping upgrade before you complete your order.

Packaging

I try to use as little plastic as possible and I'm consciously trying to minimise wasteful packaging.

Ordinarily, I use recycled card to wrap ribbons around, paper bags or acid-free tissue paper to package the items in, and then they are sent in either an ordinary paper envelope sealed with paper washi-tape or a recyclable mailing bag.

When large quantities of the same ribbon are ordered I re-use empty ribbon reels, I actually save all my empty reels (unless they're broken) because I have good intentions of using them for organisation of my other craft supplies!

Occasionally I use bubble-wrap for delicate items and I do use cellophane bags for certain products.

Adding to Orders

Please note that your payment is processed securely by Etsy so I can't increase quantities or add to your order.

If you would like to add to your order and it hasn't been dispatched then please follow this procedure:

1. Send me a message to let me know your intentions of placing another order, I will hold your existing order.
2. Place a new order for the extra items you wish to purchase, I will then process your orders as one, combine shipping and refund the additional shipping charges.

If you have ordered an additional quantity of the same ribbon I will try to send this as one length.

If your order has already been dispatched then I can't combine shipping.

Stock Availability & Quantities

The quantity available on the Etsy shop should be the amount of actual stock I have, you can increase the quantity up to the maximum available.

If you want 1 metre or more then please choose the "1 metre" option and increase the quantity to your desired length, remember that you won't be able to add more than what I have available.

Occasionally I don't have as much stock as stated...
1. If I'm just a little bit short then I'll refund the difference to you and send your order.
2. If there's quite a bit short then I'll contact you;
- you can choose to have the short length
- or you can wait for more stock
- or cancel the order :-(
