This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

1. Information I Collect
When you purchase a product or contact me through Etsy, certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, Etsy username, email address, order and transaction information, and the contents of any messages you send me.
Because Plum Parakeet sells only digital products, I do not need your physical shipping address to fulfill an order, and I do not receive or store your payment information through my shop.
If you voluntarily provide additional information when contacting me, I may use that information to respond to you and provide customer support.
2. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I use personal information only as necessary to operate my shop and provide the services you request. This includes:
- Fulfilling and managing your order(s);
- Providing customer support and troubleshooting;
- Responding to questions, requests, and messages;
- Resolving disputes and addressing problems with orders;

Etsy may provide me with information necessary to fulfill your order and provide customer service. Etsy separately processes your personal information under its own Privacy Policy.
I may collect, use, retain, or disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or other unlawful activity, or protect the rights, property, or safety of my customers, my business, or others.
I do not sell your personal information.

I retain your personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing customer support, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, and complying with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, as well as the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
The length of time information is retained may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected. When personal information is no longer needed and I am not legally required to retain it, I will delete or securely dispose of it where reasonably possible.
6. International Transfers
As an Etsy seller based in the United States, personal information relating to customers in the EU, EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions may be processed or stored in countries outside of their home jurisdiction, including the United States and by Etsy.
Where applicable, such transfers are made using legally recognized safeguards or other lawful mechanisms under applicable data protection law. These may include an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally permitted transfer mechanism.
