Welcome to POBBLETOES! Here you will find hand fashioned jewelry, each piece crafted one at a time and often the only one we make in that exact way. We are very conversation-friendly, so please feel free to convo us with any questions you may have.

Purchases are packaged carefully in a be-ribboned gift box and usually ship within 24 hours of payment. We are committed to total customer satisfaction, so feel confident in your purchase. We have a "no questions asked" return policy; please read our policies page for any further details.

Our photographs are taken in indirect natural light and we try our best to present and describe our items as truthfully and clearly as possible. The item purchased will always be the item pictured in the listing.

WELCOME TO POBBLETOES! We are a retired husband and wife team who craft casual jewelry for you to wear at work or play using a wide variety of stones, metals and many of our own home-grown copper and brass pieces. It is important to us that our customers are satisfied, so know that we will work hard to please you.

We are very conversation friendly, so if you have any questions about the items listed or about the manner in which they are made, feel free to "convo" us.

Your purchase will be carefully wrapped in tissue, gift boxed and be-ribboned. If the item you purchase is a gift and going directly to the recipient, let us know, so that we do not include a packing slip which can include the price of the item. We are also happy to include a note to the recipient if you so wish.

ABOUT OUR EAR WIRES: Many of our ear wires are artisan-made, usually from a fellow Etsy artist, as we love to use whatever we can that is 'home-grown'. All of our brass and copper ear wires are nickel-free and lead-free; but we do have hypoallergenic niobium ear wires available if that is what you require. If you see a listing you like, but would prefer a different length or style ear wire, convo us and we will try to accommodate you.

JEWELRY CARE: Caring for your patinated brass and copper items is different than caring for silver or gold jewelry. Do NOT use jewelry cleaners on any of the patinated items, and definitely not on oxidized silver items as it will remove all the dark oxidation that is what gives the darkened silver its depth and charm. A polishing cloth can be used on silver items to restore luster and a 0000 steel wool pad (extra, extra fine) is all you need if you feel the brass or copper is getting dull. Silver, copper and brass will darken with age and wear but with a little bit of care they can be restored to looking like new. The patinated colored items should retain their color and sheen for a long while, as they have been carefully sealed. Patinated jewelry items are not intended to be worn in water, so please remove them before bathing or swimming, and do not allow chemicals to come in contact with any kind of jewelry as permanent marking could result.

****Hair spray is not a jewelry's friend, so take care not to use it when you have your earrings on - the spray could damage the finish. ****

Torch fired enamel products are not meant to be bent or folded; cracking of the glass on the metal will occur.

Payment

We accept online payments via PayPal and would appreciate payment at that time. If payment does not ensue within 3 days of the order, it will have to be canceled unless prior arrangements have been made. Contact us if you need a longer time for payment; we will be happy to work with you. PLEASE NOTE, FLORIDA RESIDENTS PAY SALES TAX WHEN CHECKING OUT.

Because PayPal or Etsy generates the address label for shipping, please make sure you have the correct mailing address in the PayPal and/or Etsy info. You do not need a PayPal account to pay for your order; you can process a payment through PayPal with a credit card. They make it very easy.

Shipping

Your purchase from Pobbletoes will be well packaged to survive its journey to you. Finished jewelry will be gift boxed, be-ribboned and well padded for the trip. We spend a lot of time crafting these items so we want to make sure they survive their postal adventure the way they began it - and, of course, we want a happy and satisfied customer.

We ship first class mail with delivery confirmation within the U.S.; there is no delivery confirmation outside of the U.S. Shipping costs do not include insurance.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - We ship via First Class International Mail. Packages shipped internationally may be charged a duty or customs fee by the destination country; if so, that is the responsibility of the buyer. Some countries levy a duty to purchases that are above a specified limit, so it is the buyers responsiblity to know their own countries customs laws and fees. Please understand we have no control over the delivery of your package once it leaves our shores.

Important note: We will not violate our customs laws by falsifying customs documents, changing the price of a sale or marking it as a "gift" rather than "merchandise".



Refunds and Exchanges

It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase. If you find that you would like to return the item, we will be happy to refund you the purchase price once said item has been returned to us. The return should be in new condition and packaged in the same manner in which it was delivered. Please contact us within 3 days of receiving the item to arrange for return delivery. Sorry, shipping charges are not refunded and return shipping charges are the buyers responsibility

We will not process a refund for items that are damaged do to careless handling, as dropping on a hard surface, or improper cleaning of the item or exposure to chemicals; nor for items that are lost while wearing.

We would very much appreciate the opportunity to make sure you are a satisfied customer, so please contact us if you have a problem with your purchase before leaving any negative feedback.
