Care instructions

Please keep your sustainable embroidered art out of direct sunlight to keep the colors from fading. For spot cleaning, gently wash with a damp cloth and soap.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All of my packaging materials are recyclable and made with recycled products. Your art will arrive in a clear plastic pouch, sealed with a Pochoir.NYC sticker made out of recycled paper. I will ship your item in a paper kraft mailer decorated with biodegradable washi tape.

I do not offer gift wrapping.

What is sustainability?

Sustainability is the idea that we all should live in a way that benefits our planet and all of the people who live in it. We need to keep in mind what we buy, how it's made, who makes it, who benefits from it, and if it can be disposed of safely. It isn't enough to buy something made from sustainable components, we have to get rid of it sustainably too. That's why all products come with recycling instructions.

Why do you care about sustainability?

I've seen firsthand just how the fashion industry has become one of the most polluting industries on the planet and I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to create something that was not only beautiful but meaningful, long-lasting, and safe for the people and animals around me. I decided to create an embroidery shop that only uses certified sustainable materials and spreads the word about sustainable fashion and textiles.

Why aren't any of your items ready to ship?

All items are made to order because I practice the concept of zero inventory: less product waiting around to be sold means less waste in the long run.
