Announcement   Welcome to Wren Dogwood Design & Paperie! (and I guess vintage bags now too - more Dooney and Bourke bags will be in stock soon!)

I began making custom and commissioned art in December of 2014 as a means of paying some bills while I was unable to work. But as I started meeting small business owners and figuring out how to run an Etsy shop, a friend of mine convinced me to start helping brand other Etsy businesses with logos and web design and business cards. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with Etsy shop owners to help them claim an identity in the digital marketplace by, to the best of my ability, turning their ideas into paint and pixels.

I now have a passion for both making art and stationery and for business branding, and I would love to hear your ideas. I want to help you get where you need to go through a process that is as affordable and customizable as possible, whether you're looking for personal stationery or a signature touch for your brand.

Please don't hesitate to reach out and we can start making something unique to fit what needs you may have.

This is a bit out of character for my etsy shop. But I really like vintage bags. Especially Dooney & Bourke. But now have way too many from hoarding them. So here's two of the bags that are now available. They're in great vintage condition!

About

"We put the thought of all that we love into all that we make." -JRR Tolkein

My business began when everything else fell apart.

Just after moving away for school and started to get my life together, I got a little sick. Then I kept getting sick. Then months later I ended up back at my parents' house with a drained bank account and no job, and a strong desire to sleep 16 hours a day.

I started doing art commissions as a way to pay my bills and prevent myself from going crazy. But when I started to believe that my life had ended and that all of my dreams had been crushed, I realized very suddenly that they are only just beginning.

Now as I work a full time retail job and attend school, I still find that being able to work on custom designs push me through the week. I live with a passion for what I do. I've stopped living as if I'm slaving away toward an elusive finish line, and I've started loving the journey.

And I can't wait to see where it takes me, and how many individuals and businesses I'll be able to collaborate with on the way.

I'm determined to make people happy. And I've decided that there's infinite ways of doing that. For me, that means making art with a personal connection to each of my clients.
