I got these to go with a plaid tablecloth I purchased. Love the colors and the material - items arrived quickly and look forward to using them.

Posy equals quality, personal, purposeful handmade and vintage goods.

Posy started off heavy on the handmade, and light on the vintage, because there weren't a lot of venues for selling vintage. But recently, that's all changed with great markets like downtown Raleigh's Urban Vintage and Durham's Patchwork Market. Overall, I've had great success at markets such as the former Rock n' Shop, Carrboro's ELF Fair, Raleigh's Insplosure, Downtown Designer's Market, Urban Vintage, PopUp Raleigh, Durham's Patchwork Market, and Deco Raleigh/Edge of Urge's seasonal popup shop Flight. I've had a feature in Walter Magazine and was interviewed for our local news. I've donated to several organizations, such as Green Chair Project, Josh's Hope Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, Girls Inc. and more.

We sell mostly vintage goods now, but also splash in some handmade embroidery (mainly using vintage designs) or small refinished projects. You can find Posy on Etsy, as well as downtown Raleigh's fabulous DecoRaleigh's Home store and local markets. I've been so inspired and jazzed to become a small part of the creative scene in my nook of North Carolina!

Posy aims to be a resource for quality, personal, and purposeful vintage goods. There are items you will always find in our shop, such as kitchen goods, books, linens, and intriguing tchotchkes as well as those fun pieces we just can't walk away from (Horoscope machine?! Why not?!). Posy is not a hobby; it's a cherished small business that offers folks a chance to shop outside the (big) box.

Laura, owner of Posy, hunts all over the south to bring back the best vintage finds she can get her hands on. We are a big fan of miles-long yard sales, estate sales and even a heart-thumping auction or two. Let us do the dirty work and you get the fun job of picking out that next favorite piece!

It's been a long road to get to Posy...jobs in film, TV, & counseling & more, but I truly couldn't be happier at my final stop. Finding vintage gems & creating purposeful, yet beautiful items makes me happy & fulfills that creative pocket in me.

Thank you for visiting Posy! I have always loved bright, eclectic home decor and, especially, those of the vintage variety. I believe design should be about practical, yet beautiful items. Items that makes you happy and reflects who you are. I believe in the little touches, whether a one-of-a-kind piece that creates a statement or a cool vintage find that tells a story. Posy is excited to fill our shop with eclectic handmade, refinished and vintage goods.
