Clay is my love, it is my passion, it is my muse. Here you’ll find things I’ve made that are ready to ship.

The custom work (states with hearts) you’ve seen stems from making for my wedding guests in 2012. I made mugs with the state of Montana for all my guests with a ❤️ over Missoula.
I started getting custom requests, more and more, from friends and relatives and decided to put them up on my shop on Etsy.

Since then, I have created almost every state in the union, and several countries outside the U.S.

I love custom orders. If you want something custom made, please send me a convo. My studio time varies week to week, thus, so does my shipping and turn around time.

Everything I create is hand thrown on a potter's wheel- lovely differences will occur.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
  • Money Order
Returns and exchanges
If an item is damaged upon arrival, please notify me within 5 days.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order- please email me at potsbyamy [!at] gmail.com and we can work something out. My goal as a potter is to make work that people will use and love every day.
Payment
Much of the work that I make is custom. Payment in full is required before your order will be made.
Shipping
I ship USPS Priority almost always.

Packages arrive 2-3 business days after I mark them as shipped- most of the time. There have been delays on the USPostal Service end that are out of my control. I will always provide a tracking number. Please be patient and let me know if a package does not arrive within a few days of the expected date.

Some items will ship quickly, others, not so much- it all depends on where I am in the process. Each piece takes days to make, days to dry, days to fire, a day to glaze, and several more to glaze fire.

If you are in a hurry or need something by a specific date, please send me a convo and I will let you know what I can do for you. Otherwise- please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Please send me a convo if you are ordering more than 4 mugs at a time and we can talk special pricing on shipping.

On larger items, shipping varies depending on size and weight. Send me a convo if you have any questions.

My shipping costs are fair- I rarely have overages more than a dollar or so. The farther away from Montana I ship, the more expensive it is. I often lose a dollar or more when I ship to the east coast. It is what it is. It all comes out in the wash.

Please keep in mind that there are other costs associated with shipping besides postage. My work is fragile, and because of that I have to purchase lots of bubble wrap. Packaging tape is also a cost. Thanks for understanding.
