Pots by Pringle are versatile and functional, combining the beauty of natural form with a simplicity of design to create unique succulent gardens.

I'm an artist who works in a variety of media. The pots I make for my Etsy shop, "Pots by Pringle," are a way for me to merge my interest in construction materials with my love for functional pottery. I studied ceramics at Ohio University where I had the honor of working for and being mentored by potter and sculptor Brad Schwieger. After having earned my BFA in ceramics, my work shifted to painting, mixed media sculpture and photography/installation, which were my focus while earning my MFA from Claremont Graduate Unversity. Making pots out of non-traditional pottery materials is a great chance for me to pursue my love for the handmade, domestically utilitarian object in a way that compliments my current artistic practice.

I created my Etsy shop in order to make it easy for people to buy and then live with my work. I think it's really important to surround yourself with interesting handmade objects in your daily life and I love the democratic platform that Etsy provides creative producers.

Welcome to Pots by Pringle, a line of cement and concrete planters designed to house miniature succulent gardens. My pots fuse commercial construction materials with the philosophies of traditional pottery. Their simple designs are meant to compliment the beauty of the plant, not distract from it.
