As I open each star of my second order from Rachel, my disappointment grows. I made a second order because she said it would be easier for her to fill her kiln with my current order and a future order I planned to make. Had I seen the first order with half of my product illegible or broken, I would not have ordered more. An expensive lesson learned. Upon the urging of my family, I asked Rachel to share even a portion of my loss, since I have so many quantity I cannot use, and I will have to order a different product to serve my purpose in the future. She declined.

Rachel and I had pleasant correspondence about a custom order to remember my son who passed just months ago. I wanted something to hang on hikes and in beautiful places to state "Kade was remembered here." I appreciated Rachel trying several tests sending me photos and letting me choose. I appreciated her meeting my time requirements, shipping my order in time for a family remembrance get-together. Unfortunately, when they arrived most were un-useable. They were either already broken, crumbled upon handling, or the writing was illegible. The narrow space between the star and trail was super fragile to the touch. Also, as my mom is a potter, she informed me that they were not glazed on both sides which would have made them stronger. I appreciated all of Rachel's hard work on this large quantity. I also appreciated her lowering her price since I was ordering such a large quantity. However, I hoped she would reimburse me part of my losses on my large order, and take some responsibility for my large quantity of products I could not use. She would not and told me I should file a claim with the postal service. I didn't think this was the right option, since it was the pieces, themselves, which broke to the touch (even when removed carefully from their wrapping) and were illegible.

Shipping
Items will be shipped as promptly as possible, however, I go out of town approximately two weekends a month. During that time, I will be unable to ship your item to you. I will notify you if I am unable to ship your order within 3 business days.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item breaks in transit, please file a claim with USPS as each shipment is insured.
