5 out of 5 starsThe mugs that I chose arrived promptly and packaged well. They were well made and beautiful. One of our mugs had an unfortunate defect, but the seller offered solutions that we were happy with. She was very responsive and practiced great customer service. I would purchase from this seller again and highly recommend.

5 out of 5 starsThis piece is so unique and beautiful! I have been looking for something like this to both rinse AND serve fresh berries in. The holes help drain the water away from the berries so they don’t get soggy. Very fast delivery and packed super well!

5 out of 5 starsCould not be happier with the stiped design and glaze on this bowl. I call it Christmas funk. The colors will truly jazz up my holiday table to put an end a somewhat dismal year. The quality and personality of the bowl and it's creator is top notch. Great turnaround and careful packing (Bonnie uses CORNSTARCH PEANUTS TO PACK! I LOVE that feature.) I will happily do business with Bonnie again (and again)

I LOVE what I do
I discovered pottery while on a European trip...It’s been over 30 years now and I still LOVE creating it. I did take 15 years off from professional marketing and sold by word of mouth only – in that time I raised two lovely identical twin daughters – Sierra and Maya, owner built a house and studio and renovated a guesthouse on the Monterey Peninsula. If you’re interested in seeing handmade sinks, mosaic murals, concrete and rock work… check out my web page www.hotzart.com under the gallery tab click on the building my studio button.
Now, back at it full time and exploring a very different type of firing and glaze work than I did pre – mom. I find this exciting and think it shows in the work. I fire in a 24 cubic foot handmade downdraft kiln with propane gas in a carbon trapping reduction atmosphere to very high temperatures, 2400 degrees F. and above – Cones 10 -11. There are many ‘possible’ outcomes this way - so opening that kiln door is still ‘fresh’.

With every pot and every firing I strive to make sweet, strong functional pots with interesting forms, textures and colors that enhance your day - that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning, a special serving piece, dinnerware you enjoy looking at whether there's food in it or not, a vase for your flowers, a gift for that special person or occasion...
My work has been sold in over 60 craft galleries nationwide as well as two Craft Museum gift shops; one in New York City and one in San Francisco.
I like connecting my pottery to your life! I hope they bring joy and a smile to your day.
Please keep in mind that colors appear slightly differently on different computer screens. I've described the colors as best I can.
