Bracelet is artistically made with beautiful stones. Love the design, and meaning behind each stone. Great gift for birthdays.

Beautifully crafted with lots of love and care in making this bracelet. Each stone that was selected, has a very special meaning behind it. It makes a great gift for a special friend.
I've always had a creative soul - then Reiki gave me a direction...
Nameste! Welcome to Precious Reiki Gems...
Who I am...
While I've been referred to as a "neohippy" (http://spiky.anarchic-teapot.net/2012/02/how-to-attune-an-object-with-reiki/) I prefer to describe myself as an aging hippie chick. I love unique, colorful hand-crafted anything, especially pottery and fiber art (weaving, quilting, clothing). I'm also an advocate for animal welfare, and have a dog, several cats and a small flock of chickens.
After over 25 years roaming the halls and haunting the conference rooms of several computer software companies, I decided to embrace my dozing creative side. I may miss the big paychecks, but I love being able to do my own thing (mostly) and love having my critters around me while I'm working.
How I got here...
Stained glass had been a hobby for years (along with quilting, embroidery, sewing, gardening, cooking) but I took a chance and tried it as a full-time job. Unfortunately the latest recession hit, and I was forced to take work elsewhere - at a kennel, but that's another story.
Then, on a whim I decided to get my Reiki Level 1 attunement, and it went so well I proceeded to Level 2. I received a simple stone when I completed each course. I bought another stone on Etsy. I did some research. I was hooked. I taught myself to make jewelry, and I opened my Etsy shop.
All in the space of about 2 months.
The first year was tough - I invested a lot of time and took a big bite out of my savings, but managed to break even - just. However, I stuck with it and I am pleased to say that year two - and now three and four - have been very successful!
What I do...
The main focus of my Etsy shop is jewelry, with stone as the major component. I also make sun catchers, key chains, and stained glass and fairy garden wind chimes. Sometimes the stones find their way into the stained glass, and I've used glass beads in my stained glass wind chimes for years.
At least that's what I'm making now - who knows what I'll try next.
A word or three on stones...
Many people believe stones and colors have magical, mystical or even medicinal properties. Even if you don't believe in those "mysterious" - non-scientific - properties, my hope is that my pieces are reminders of the goals my customers have for their lives - to be more positive, to stay safe, to remember a loved one, to be grateful for friendship, to find joy in the simple things in life. And if nothing else, I hope my pieces are enjoyed and appreciated for their aesthetic value alone.
Where I am...
I'm based in mid-Michigan - after 30 some years of travel, I'm 25 miles from where I was born and raised.
I've recently combined my stained glass workshop and my jewelry studio and I think that both are better for the change...
My Etsy shop is my main marketplace, but I have work in the local farmers' market gallery, and in several local shops - two of which who've found me through Etsy. I also participate in several local art fairs every summer.
Where I'm going...
I have plans for my little Etsy shop - more creative jewelry, the addition of stained glass, and, in time, to sell supplies as well. I enjoy doing arts and craft shows and want to combine my love of traveling by visiting shows around the mid-west. And I'm toying with setting up a tent at the local Renaissance festival...
I couldn't have survived in the world of arts and crafts if not for Etsy. Etsy has given me a platform, and I intend to make the most of it!

Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
- Money Order
- Other Method
Don't have a Paypal account? Paypal does allow non-members to pay by credit card - checkout this helpful Etsy article on paying with Master Card, Visa etc through Paypal:
I also accept USPS Money orders (https://www.usps.com/shop/money-orders.htm) from US customers only. Payment must be received within 7 business days. At that time I'll send a reminder email and wait 48 hours for a reply. Unfortunately, I cannot hold items longer than 9 days without payment or communication.
Items are typically shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. I use Etsy shipping labels, and when the label is created you will receive an email with the delivery details.
NOTE: If the shipping cost is drastically overestimated, I do send a refund.
I am always happy to arrange insurance and delivery confirmation for international shipments, but this will increase shipping costs - please contact me before purchase for an estimate. I can also arrange shipping via another carrier - again, contact me before purchasing for an estimate.
For international shipments, the purchaser is responsible for all duties, customs and taxes. Please note that it is illegal for me to misrepresent an item as a "gift" to avoid import duties and taxes.

Additional policies and FAQs
I'm happy to accept custom orders - contact me with your ideas and I'll give you an estimate of cost and time. For most custom orders I do require payment before I proceed, especially if I need to order materials or if the item isn't something that I would typically offer in my shop.
Because of my work schedule at the "real job" custom order may take 2 to 3 weeks, but I will advise you of the time frame when I contact you.
I do send a photo or two of custom items before shipping, just to make sure you're satisfied. I don't ship the item until you let me know you are happy with the results!
For general refunds, I refer you to the "Refund Policy" section.
Things do break, and for the most part I am happy to make repairs within ONE YEAR of purchase, IF the majority of the pieces are returned. I will refund the cost of first class shipping with tracking upon receiving the pieces, and repair and return the item free of charge.
I reserve the right to make substitutions in materials to improve the strength of the item or if the missing components are no longer available.
If the stone in a pendant is broken, I may or may not be able to replace it, as each stone is unique. If a substitution is necessary, I will offer several options with as close a match as I have available.
I am also happy to discuss bulk orders. I use a roughly sliding scale of percentage discounts depending on the number of items purchased and order frequency. Again, please contact me for details.
