Welcome to Preppy Pinkies.

Thank you for visiting Preppy Pinkies. Preppy Pinkies was born after a whirlwind week of college tours with my daughter in 2011. My father had recently passed away after being his care taker for two years. When he passed away there was such a void in my life I turned to crafting and started making hair bows. For me, the highlight of each college was visiting their shops. I loved all the cute spirit gear in each schools colors. I found myself saying "I can make that"..... I came home so inspired I started making college hair bows, burp cloths and tote bags with my embroidery machine and sold them on Etsy. Next I expanded to include Bridesmaid and Flower Girl Bags.

In 2012 my husband became critically ill and went on disability. With a daughter in college and uncertainty of our future, what was a hobby now became a business. Since I needed to be home to care for my husband, getting a full time job wasn't feasible. I decided to expand my Etsy shop to include bridal party gifts, sorority gear and personalized home décor.

Happily my husband has recovered from a long illness and now helps with Preppy Pinkies. He manages our website and does engraving. I still do embroidery but now employ my three daughters, My mother and two friends. They help with embroidering, sewing, packaging and shipping.

Preppy Pinkies has grown to the point that we just moved into our first small warehouse. It may have something to do with my daughter coming home from college and needing a place to sleep. Even so, I think we will outgrow it pretty quickly though. Thank you to all my loyal customers who return time and time again to purchase. You have taken Preppy Pinkies from a small hair bow and embroidery company to a full service personalization company.

Welcome to Preppy Pinkies. We specialize in making and selling personalized products.

Please note that every item is made to order and may vary slightly from the product photo. This is what makes each item so special and wonderful.

Please make sure the ship to address is correct before submitting order. I will try and make changes but can't guarantee the changes can be made.

When ordering a monogrammed product, please submit your personalization exactly as you want it to appear. We monogram exactly as you submit (initial order, name capitalization, etc.). 3 letter monograms should be submitted first/last/middle.

Please make sure your personalization is correct. Refer to the listing for how to leave personalization. Changes can't be made once your order is submitted as I try and start working on it as quickly as possible. If I haven't processed your order, I will do my best to make the changes.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Personalized orders once submitted can't be cancelled or refunded. Due to the personalization, your item can't be restocked. I will send an immediate replacement out for damaged items.

***New Cancellation Policy***

Due to an increase in immediate cancellations, I will now charge a $2.00 administrative fee for cancellation of items before they are made or buyer can use the total amount paid as a store credit for another item. I apologize but I don't always see the cancellations and for every cancellation paid by PayPal, I get charged a fee. Please note that buyers remorse also takes time away from getting orders out to process the refund and cancellation.


If an item arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible so I can get a new one out to you ASAP. Unfortunately, on rare occasion, items do get damaged during transit. Please open your package to check for damage as soon as you get it. I will only replace an item 10 days after the delivery date.

There are no returns on personalized items. Non personalized items may be returned for a refund but there is a 10% restocking fee and all shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. I apologize but I'm a small business, not amazon.

Payment
We accept payment by credit card or paypal. Please make certain the Paypal ship to address is correct as we ship to the Paypal address, not the Etsy address. There is a 6.75.% sales tax added to all purchases shipped within FL.

Due to the custom nature of our products, changes can not be made once your order is submitted. Please check the accuracy of your personalization as well as your shipping address. If you don't provide a confirmed address we will refund your money.
Shipping
Shipping is typically first class or priority USPS. Delivery confirmation is provided. Please note that once confirmed delivered, we are no longer responsible for your item unless it is damaged or we sent you the incorrect item. You will receive a tracking number and shipment confirmation e-mail when your order heads your way.

Items in stock are shipped within 1 business day. Mongrammed items take 2-6 business days to be shipped. Engraved and other personalized items take between 1-5 business days. Shipping times can vary depending on volume. Please see individual listings for time frame.
Refunds and Exchanges
Items that are personalized are non-refundable. However, please let us know if your items arrive damaged or doesn't arrive in a timely manner.

Non-personalized items will be accepted for returns within 10 days of receiving the item. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay return shipping and you will only be refunded for the cost of the item. Refunds will be issued after we receive the returned item in the exact condition received. If we receive the item after 10 days, we will not be able to process the return.

If there is a mistake on our end, we will pay the return shipping and exchange for the correct item or give full refund once item is received.
