In response to recent bad reviews————

My shop has been my pride and joy for a few years now. Quality, timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and communication have been areas I excel in…until this past year.

Some would say to keep things professional and leave personal matters far away from current or potential customers, but I’ve decided that’s not the kind of business owner I want to be. I value transparency in my relationships and I hope you do, too.

A little over a year ago, my husband asked me for a divorce out of nowhere. I would love to say I remained strong but the shock of it really wore me down. I tried to pour myself into my Etsy shop but it seemed my focus couldn’t be redirected to anything but the pain I was feeling.

I got behind on orders and a string of bad reviews came in. Normally, I would have communicated with customers about delays and ensured they were completely satisfied with their orders by going above and beyond. But with everything going on, I couldn’t even face the disappointed customers. So I decided to put my shop on vacation mode for 2 months.

Taking that time for myself was the best decision I ever made. I had the time to grieve the loss of my marriage, and finally meet all parts of myself— the good and the bad. It wasn’t easy in the slightest, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I am healed and ready to take on the world completely on my own!

So, I’m back friends!! But I’m back with more motivation, energy, clarity, and creativity than ever before! I give you my word that the shop owner mentioned in those bad reviews is long gone! I hope to have the chance to prove it. 🙂

ABOUT ME

I am the sole owner and operator of PressedSoPretty. After selling monogrammed gifts and jewelry to local customers for a few years, I decided to expand my small business through my Etsy shop in March, 2019.

I am an Elementary teacher by day and a creator by night. I am a collector of hobbies so you can expect a variety of items from my shop. I like to explore new creative avenues whenever I find the time, but making jewelry has always been my biggest passion.

Everything in my shop is made to order, and always created with the greatest care and attention to detail. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my work, so you can expect high quality materials and workmanship when you receive an item from my shop.

I was a buyer long before I opened my own shop, and I know the importance of quality when buying handmade items. I want you to LOVE your new bracelet or monogrammed gift- and I will never ship anything that I would not want to receive myself. All of my gemstones and beads are genuine, purchased from other small businesses and manufacturers all over the world. By supporting my shop, you are supporting them, too.

I am always open to custom orders- so if you see an item you like but want to change it up to make it your very own- I will be happy to work with you!
