Pretty Dirty was started during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Salt Lake City, UT. As a geologist with a design background (weird combo, I know), I wanted to create with the rocks I found in the field. When the pandemic began to take hold, many small businesses began to struggle. I wanted to help, so I started a business that supports others like me! This is why all of the materials I use come from other small businesses in the US. My stones not only come from small businesses, but from local lapidaries, claim owners, or straight from the Earth (Found by me, of course!).
