Jewelry given a second time around

I have always sold something or other. I have sold perfume, sportswear, movies, music and on and on. My husband and I originally sold at flea markets, street fairs, trade shows, etc. We did very well with that then things in the economy changed in the mid 1990's so we got jobs.

Still loving the art of the deal in retail I wanted to have my hand in it again. So when we moved from our large home to a smaller one I started to declutter. Going through my jewelry box of jewelry that was over 20+ years old I thought hmm....ebay?

And so it began. I was back into retail with ebay, yahoo auctions and many other venues. Now here I am on etsy.com as one of my shop's venues enjoying and looking forward to much success.

Pretty Jewelry Things does not accept returns for earrings (pierced, clips, wires, screwbacks, or any other style) and other jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, pins, etc.) for health and safety reasons. Earrings and jewelry purchased will be shipped in sealed sterile clear cellophane bags in a box.

All items are extensively described and many pictures are included. For health and safety reasons clip on, pierced, post or wired earrings can not be returned under any circumstances.

Refused/Returned/Wrong Provided Address by the buyer packages will be charged a $10.00 restocking fee and the original shipping cost will not be refunded. Forwarding to the correct shipping address must be paid by the buyer. No exceptions.

Orders placed will be shipped to the address on the original order. Etsy's Seller Protection and third party shipped package insurance does not cover address that are different from the address on the original order placed. Buyer must provide a verifiable home/residential address. No shipping to post office box addresses.

ATTENTION USA/INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:

A $25.00 restocking fee and non-refundable shipping cost will be deducted from the original total price of purchase for packages returned or because the buyer did not pay their countries VAT/IVA/Customs/Postal/Taxes/Fee's/etc./provided a wrong or incomplete address. EU buyer pays for return shipping for the item/items and only the price of the item/items EU buyer originally purchased will be refunded not the postage shipping cost to ship the item/items to the EU buyer.

COSTUME EARRINGS & JEWELRY DISCLAIMER:

*Earrings and jewelry that become damaged, discolored or tarnished from not properly taking care not to get the earrings or jewelry wet, use chemicals, perfume, deodorant, any type of sprays, etc. will not be replaced or refunded.* The earrings and jewelry are costume and should be treated as such.

To avoid your costume earrings and jewelry from tarnishing or becoming rusty or discolored due to wetness/moisture, remove the earrings or jewelry when showering, using hair sprays, perfumes and sleeping, keep them in plastic bags. Wrap loosely inside the bags and store in boxes, drawers, or plastic containers.

While WEARING or cleaning your costume earrings or jewelry, do not immerse them in water or any cleaning solution. Doing so will cause a change in the color of the earrings or jewelry's top finish. Instead, use a damp, soft cloth to wipe the earrings.

Never apply perfumes, deodorants, oils, body lotions or hairspray while wearing the costume earrings or jewelry, as the chemicals will tarnish the plating on the earring or jewelry. Spray the perfume or hairspray first and then put on the earrings or jewelry.

Avoid wearing the earrings or jewelry when bathing, going to bed, swimming, or when exercising.
