We make pretty art... pretty much.
Pretty {much} Art started when Stephanie {the daughter/artist} graduated from college with a BFA in graphic design in 2008. Looking for a way to stay creative during the long process of searching for a "real job" {during a recession, no less} lead to getting creative on the computer. Stephanie used the skills she learned in school to make "digital art", creating art prints and stationery.
"My artwork is done on the computer. I design the pictures using hand-drawn illustrations I've scanned into the computer and manipulated in Photoshop."
It wasn't long before Theresa {the mother/crafter} joined in. Taking her daughter's designs, Theresa applies the artwork to art blocks, coaster sets, magnet sets, and a variety of pendants/jewelry. Everything she makes is carefully crafted... because she's a perfectionist like that. She makes Pretty {much} Art more than pretty art. Pretty {much} Art is functional home decor, and more!
