Armbänder und Kollektionen haben meine Kreativität in diesem Jahr wirklich vorangetrieben. Ich bin sehr stolz auf die Vielfalt der Farben und Texturen, mit denen ich gearbeitet habe. Kettenhemd, echtes Leder und elastische Kordeln waren in diesem Jahr interessante Basismaterialien.

Für den Herbst hoffe ich, meine Manschettenarmbänder, Quastenohrringe und eine weitere Runde zotteliger Armbänder für Weihnachtsgeschenke bereit zu haben.

Ich habe es wirklich genossen, mit Memory Wire zu arbeiten, um einige schöne neue Creolen-Ohrring-Designs zu kreieren, um die Pretty Pretty Sparkles' Signature Collection zu vervollständigen.

Ich habe auch den Winter damit verbracht, zu lernen, wie man mit Edelstahl arbeitet, um Ohrmanschetten für diejenigen herzustellen, die ihre Ohren nicht durchbohrt haben.

Die Schlüsselanhänger entstanden, weil ich beschloss, in einige der Fandoms einzutauchen, die mein Leben außerhalb der Handwerks- / Schmuckwelt ausmachen.

Früher habe ich sie für mich und Freunde gemacht und immer Komplimente für sie bekommen. Also dachte ich mir, ich würde sie auf Etsy ausprobieren.

Ein bisschen ein Unterschied im Vergleich zum Schmuck, aber sie machen Spaß und sind eine coole Art, sich zu schmücken, auch wenn Sie nicht in der Fandom-Szene sind.

Ich habe kürzlich meine Linien um Halsketten und Armbänder erweitert, um die Ohrringe zu ergänzen, mit denen ich vor fast einem Jahr begonnen habe.

Ich fand meine Inspiration aus einer Episode von My Little Pony, in der sie Rock-Süßigkeiten-Halsketten herstellten, ich hatte einen Moment der Inspiration und rannte damit.

Manchmal klappt es einfach so:)

Dieses ganze Abenteuer begann, als ich meiner Mutter ein Paar Ohrringe für Weihnachten machen wollte.
Nachdem ich ein Paar gemacht hatte, zeigte ich sie Freunden. Sie waren alle überrascht von dem Design und den Details. Sie waren noch überraschter, dass ich sie gemacht habe. Sie sagten, sie wüssten nicht, dass ich Schmuck mache, und meine Antwort war: "Ich habe es auch nicht."
Danach wurde ich nach Paaren und verschiedenen Designs gefragt. Da ich mehrere Designs habe, habe ich beschlossen, meinen Laden Pretty Pretty Sparkles zu eröffnen.

Ich bin sehr aufgeregt und hätte nie gedacht, dass ich so etwas tun würde, aber ich liebe jede Minute davon!

Bracelets and Collections have really been driving my creativity this year. I'm most proud of the diversity in colors and textures that I've been getting to work with. Chainmail, genuine leather, and elastic cording have been interesting base materials this year.

For the fall I'm hoping to have my cuff bracelets, tassel earrings, and another round of shaggy bracelets ready for Christmas gift giving.

I've really been enjoying getting to work with memory wire to create some beautiful new hoop earring designs to complete the Pretty Pretty Sparkles' Signature Collection.

I also spent the winter learning how to work with stainless steel to create ear cuffs, for those who don't have their ears pierced..

The keychains came about because I decided I would dive into some of the fandoms that make up my life outside of the craft / jewelry world.

I used to make them for myself and friends and always got compliments on them. So I figured I would try them out on Etsy.

A bit of a difference when compared to the jewelry but they are fun and a cool way to accessorize, even if you aren't into the fandom scene.

I've recently expanded my lines to include necklaces and bracelets to compliment the earrings that I starting with almost a year ago.

I found my inspiration from an episode of My Little Pony where they were making rock candy necklaces, I had a moment of inspiration and ran with it.

Sometimes it just works out that way :)

This whole adventure got started when I was going to make my mom a pair of earrings for Christmas.
After making a pair I showed them to friends. They were all surprised by the design and detail. They were even more surprised that I made them. They said they didn't know that I made jewelry and I my response was, "I didn't either."
After that I started getting asked for pairs and different designs. Since I have several designs, I decided to open my shop, Pretty Pretty Sparkles.

I'm very excited and never thought I'd be doing something like this, but I'm loving every minute of it!
