Ik begon mijn carrière met het maken van stripboeken voor grote bedrijven, maar ik ben altijd anders geweest en heb moeite om in de mainstream kunstscene te passen. Ik probeer een grotere en meer publieke artistieke stem voor mezelf te ontwikkelen op TikTok en Etsy.
Een autismediagnose later in mijn leven verklaarde veel voor mij in termen van hoe ik met mensen omga. Door een hoop groei accepteerde ik mezelf zoals ik ben, en realiseerde ik me dat kunst niet gaat over het passen in perfecte commerciële hokjes. Ik heb sowieso altijd al voor mezelf willen beginnen, en ik hou ervan om funky, artistieke producten te maken. Ik heb veel doelen, waaronder het ondersteunen en inhuren van kunstenaars, om creatievelingen te verheffen en te begeleiden naar succesvolle carrières in het maken van boeken en verzamelobjecten. Ik kan niet wachten om deze reis met jullie te delen, en jullie steun betekent de wereld voor mij en de ongelooflijk getalenteerde mensen met wie ik het voorrecht heb om te werken.
I started my career making comic books for big companies, but I have always been different and have trouble fitting in with the mainstream art scene. I'm trying to develop a bigger and more public artistic voice for myself on TikTok and Etsy.
An autism diagnosis later in life explained a lot for me in terms of how I relate to people. Through a ton of growth, I accepted myself just the way I am, and realized that art isn't about fitting in to perfect commercial boxes. I have always wanted to go into business for myself anyway, and I love making funky, artistic products. I have a lot of goals that include supporting and employing artists, to uplift and guide creatives towards successful careers making books and collectibles. I can't wait to share this journey with you, and your support means the world to me and the amazingly talented people I get the privilege to work with.
