Hand Painted Orthodox icons by Rev. Larry Kamphausen.
Contemporary Byzantine/Orthodox icons painted following the spiritual and artistic tradition of the Eastern Orthodox Church.

I've been painting icons according to the tradition of Eastern Orthodox Christianity since 2003.

Icons are painted with egg tempera, on quality gessoed wood panels. At times I also use panels of reclaimed wood.

I accept commissions for personal icon corners. I also do work for churches. Use the Request Custom Order button to commission an icon. Pricing depends on size and subject of icon, but is comparable to pricing of in stock items and made order items available in the shop..
