Announcement    Hi there! I'm Joyce, and I am an artist/illustrator. PrimaYaya is my design studio and it's carried me through a diverse creative career. I live in a beautiful, historic town, and I am inspired by southern subjects and scenes around me. I grew up on the Florida Gulf Coast, and I have also lived in Colorado, Louisiana, and Tennessee. All of these places influence my style. I work in a mixed medium of graphite pencil and acrylic paint on wood or canvas. I approach subjects as a portrait and as a storyteller, capturing a representation of a scene or subject with layers of color and texture.
