Prim & Prop got its start straight off the yoga mat, in search for the bolster that was just the right firmness, the sandbag that wouldn't leak, and the eyebag that wasn't too heavy. Practicing restorative yoga on all sorts of surfaces led to the creation of our lined + stuffed bolster design, which conforms to the body yet retains its soft firmness. Sweeping up the studio of extra sand left behind from sandbags inspired the unleakable sandbag, which is created with a lining of fused interfacing and features French seams to keep those grains of sand away. The unfilled bag is composed of Nylon fabric with industrial-grade velcro that passed the leak test, too.

The eye bag, which was the original creation, has remained unchanged in pattern or fabric choice over the years - the lovely, hand-designed organic cotton in a jersey weave feels delightful pressed against the forehead, eyes, and temples, and the organic lavender offers the subtle invitation to let go.
