About

A Deep Love of Nature Expressed in Clay

I am a huge nature geek, and have enjoyed sculpting, drawing and painting animals from a very young age, creating my first works of art sitting bored at my school desk.

I draw my inspiration from the natural world, trying to get in touch with the primal spirit that drives all life.

There is nothing more enjoyable (or challenging) than breathing life into inanimate clay or capturing a breath-taking moment with my camera.

Polymer clay is my current favorite medium for sculpture and jewelry. I love its versatility and forgiving nature.

I am meticulous when it comes to details, striving for realism and trying to capture the spirit of the animal I am creating.

I love creating custom pieces, but my time is very limited, so patience is required on your part.

I am completely self-taught, and create my art in between family time and managing our small farm.

I love this beautiful world and the diversity and complexity of life within, and merely wish to share that love with you.

If you enjoy my art as much as I do, then I consider myself very blessed.

We also now sell humane craft feathers naturally shed by our heritage flocks. Your purchase helps our conservation efforts for these rare breeds.

Returns and exchanges
I will always provide a tracking number with your purchase. The USPS is very good at tracking and delivering items. It is very rare for items to get lost in transit.

I can only offer a full refund (shipping included) if I haven't shipped your item yet.

If you are unhappy with your purchase when you receive it, or if it is damaged. I will refund the item's cost but not the shipping. I will only issue a refund within 7 days after the item was delivered to your address. In the case of my sculptures, I put a LOT of time, effort and love into them, so if you don't wish to keep it please mail it back to me( at your expense) so I can find it a good home.

If a package is returned due to buyer error, buyer is responsible for all fees and charges related to the package. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT.

Due to the uniqueness of my clay creations, I do not offer exchanges.
Payment
Payment must be complete before I ship your item.

Tennessee residents will be charged a 7% sales tax on all purchases.
Shipping
Jewelry and magnets are shipped USPS First Class mail in a padded envelope. Shipping cost is an estimation, and the actual cost may be more or less (I will refund or charge more after checkout if needed).

Sculptures are shipped USPS First Class mail in a sturdy cardboard box surrounded by plenty of bubble wrap. I am especially attentive to making sure the sculptures are packed tightly enough to prevent them from moving.

If you would like to upgrade your shipping to receive your item faster please notify me prior to your purchase and I will get you a price quote.

International orders: if you do not see a shipping option listed for your country please contact me prior to purchase so I can estimate the price. All import taxes and customs fees that may occur are the responsibility of the buyer. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
Additional policies and FAQs
Commissions are accepted, but please be patient - I work out of my home where I also take care of a family and a menagerie of critters. At this time we are also in the process of a house renovation and a move. Rest assured I will finish and ship your custom item as soon as possible.

I love to send project updates, so check your Etsy convos regularly.

If you see a sold item that you would like me to make, I would love to re-create it for you. While I cannot promise it will be an exact replica, I will make sure it is equally amazing! :)

I cannot sell wholesale at this time.

*CARE OF ITEMS*

Polymer clay is a very sturdy, durable and waterproof material.

All painted jewelry and sculptures are sealed with varnish, but it is advisable not to expose them to too much moisture or solvents. A damp rag is sufficient for cleaning pieces.

Clean delicate detail on sculptures very carefully, since they are the most prone to breakage.
