For the Love of Art

Courtney is a doodler, fidgeter, and all around daydreamer. Ever since she was little she has been sketching and creating things to keep her wandering mind a little less cluttered. Throughout the day her mind takes her on romantic notions of painting in fields of lavender, sipping tea on a French terrace, and riding a train throughout Europe. Her children sometimes traverse through her imagination with her and when they don't she is sitting down sketching or painting or writing letting her imagining roam free.
She is often inspired by the beautiful things around her and captivated by words profound or just a bit silly.
Thankfully this modest little shop is a perfect outlet for a scatterbrained artist. When Courtney is not creating art she is chasing down two rambunctious girls, doing life and ministry with a lovely husband, teaching art class, and sometimes pulling out her hair.

Welcome to my own little corner of the Etsy world!

Here you will find original paintings, prints and printables. As you will find in many of my paintings I like subjects that involve animals, people and tea. This shop has been a lovely, little distraction for my ever wondering mind.

I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
I offer full refunds within ten days of purchase for physical items returned in the same condition they were sent out. If you aren't happy with an order, please feel free to message me and I will try to work with you to your satisfaction.

For digital items I, regrettably, cannot offer refunds because of the nature of the item.
Payment
Payment is due before the item is shipped out. I take credit cards, Paypal, direct checkout, and gift cards. There is a 6% tax on each item for the state that I live in. If you do not pay within 2-3 days (unless you have contacted me to notify me of something different) I will terminate the sale.
Shipping
Because I order my prints from an independent printer, I place all orders at the end of the week on Fridays. If you would like a rush on an item, please let me know. An extra charge may apply for that service.

Custom and personalized orders

I will consider doing custom paintings. If you are interested, please send me a conversation via Etsy with information about size and deadline, along with a photo attached. Pricing will vary depending on size and difficulty of subject. Please give 2-5 weeks advance notice for a custom painting.

What Paper is the Art Print Printed On?

Each print is printed on high quality photo paper and has been carefully edited so that the print resembles the original painting as closely as possible.

Can I order a Special Size that is Not Currently Offered?

Absolutely, just considering that the original might need to be cropped or adjusted to fit the necessary perimeters. Just send me a private conversation via Etsy and I will message you in return. Again, with custom orders I need some advanced notice to be able to get it cropped, ordered and sent to you in the time necessary.

How Do I Download my Digital Order?

With digital orders, on your Etsy receipt there is an option to download the file as soon as the purchase is made. I have a no return policy for digital files because of the nature of the order.

May I Resell the Prints in my Own Storefront Shop?

If you wish to sell these art prints (digital prints are not available to resell) and would like to buy them in bulk, please send me a private conversation to discuss this option.

Are These Your Own Original Paintings?

All prints or printables listed in this shop are original to this shop. Most of my paintings are from photos I have taken myself or had someone take for me of subjects I believed would make for an interesting painting. Some very kind photographers have given me the privilege of painting their own masterpieces and are given credit in the listings.
