9): These are high carbon blades so they need extra care.

What is Damascus Steel
Damascus steel is the combination of two metals,
1): 1095, a popular high-carbon steel for knives; it is harder
2): 15N20 is a bright and acid resistant metal commonly used for forging with high carbon steels to draw out the contrast in Damascus patterned billets for knives
What to do if rust appears due to negligence of not following care instructions
Best place for storage is the place that wouldn't absorb moisture from the Damascus Steel as it should be lubricated (with coconut or mineral oil) and kept that way for it to last a lifetime without any rust. Should Any surface rust appear due to negligence of care, it can easily be wiped off with a mixture of vinegar and lime and re-coated with mineral or coconut oil (best food-safe lubricants for Damascus steel thus far)
