The book is in beautiful condition for its vintage age, it was gifted, and the recipient was incredibly happy; the author's signature inside was also extra special. The book was wrapped and protected perfectly for shipping, I am very happy with this purchase!!! Thanks again, I highly recommend this seller.

Wow, these guys are the real deal when it comes to antiquarian booksellers. I've been buying collectible books for quite a while, and after this purchase, I'd rank these guys among the top 10% among booksellers in the trade. Their meticulous book descriptions are accurate, they pack books carefully to prevent damage on shipping and also so you feel excited upon opening your purchase, and their communication is great. Honestly, there is nothing I hate more than spending my hard earned money on a collectible book and having a bookseller ship my purchase in a cheap envelope or mailer without adequate protection. These guys don't do that as their passion and dedication is refreshing in an age where some booksellers have tried to cut costs so much that they've forgotten about the effect it has on the whole customer experience.

This book came neatly wrapped. I knew felt this book was precious but so did the shipper that packed it. I couldn't be happier with my book or my overall experience with this purchase. Thank you so much.

About

Dedicated to providing sustenance for the mind and spirit!

I am a bookman of the old school, or so I'm told. I have been working with books all my life: in college libraries (in binderies and serials departments). I've been a buyer for a large independent bookstore. I'm an occasional book reviewer.

For twenty years I ran my own used and antiquarian book shop. That shop closed many years ago, but I still miss it, as do many of my old customers (or so I hear). Before that I worked in another larger book store, selling both new and used books. I've also worked in college libraries (in the binderies). Now I sell online only, in partnership with Amy. We are offering what I like to think is one of the most interestingly diverse selections of books and paper to be found. We are dedicated to customer service — and to providing sustenance and pleasure for the minds and spirits of readers the world over.

We sell used, antiquarian and rare books, antique & vintage ephemera, vintage paperbacks and periodicals, old almanacs, stamps and envelopes. Look here for old favorites, or discover unusual and unexpected finds. Feel free to browse our stock of books and ephemera at your leisure.

Our shop offers one of the largest and most diverse selections on Etsy. There are all sorts of things to discover - from classy bindings to saucy vintage paperbacks. The stock is replenished frequently — almost every day!.

Of course, we're especially fond of books from the Victorian and Edwardian eras, but also enjoy modern books as well. Our book shop is for all those bright folks who refuse to embrace the post-literate age.

Inquiries are welcome, and we will happily answer any such queries with dispatch and completeness to the best of our knowledge. As a matter of fact, we've established just such a question and answer thread in the Vintage Etsy Society Street Team. PRofessor Booknoodle is happy to answer any book questions , except for "What is my book worth?" or "What price should I put on my book?" :

In another Etsy shop we also sell vintage vinyl record albums. Visit our vintage record shop on Etsy: City Beat Vintage Vinyl:

Our first Etsy Shop is Brothertown. Amy offers a delightful assortment of antique and vintage items ... objects that we think should be of interest "

I owned a used and rare book shop in a small village. The shop was closed many years ago. I miss it dearly. My partner and I are trying to offer an Etsy experience that reflects the spirit of my old shop. I hope you enjoy your visit here.
