Our story...

Hi,

I am Jerry, the owner of Pterna and I’d like to introduce you to its little story.

This is the one of a small team of people with very different profiles who have in common the passion for leather and the care for each other. Our work has been connected with the interesting world of sandals; soon we will be proud of sharing with you many new leather creations we have been working on recently.

Although my studies and experience are related in many ways with what I do right now, I suppose this has also to do with my grandfather. I frequently recall memories of him working on leather sandals and belts in Crete and some of the machines he used almost a hundred years ago have now passed in our hands.
We get inspired of the ideas you share with us and really hope you like our leather creations!
