Who are Pumpjack & Piddlewick? Our life is about wine, animals, geeky gadgets and anything French - Plus the odd find from the archaeological dig in our garden here in France - All act as inspiration for the vintage, antique and artisan items in our shop.
Piddlewick tells you about life in France on our website, whilst Pumpjack is an author and wine maker. We lead a slow living and simple lifestyle surrounded by a plethora of pet ducks, 3 clinging cats, and 2 playful dogs. All whilst restoring our old French house and garden. It can get delightfully busy.
If there is something you like but you think the price is a tad high, make us an offer. We like a good, friendly haggle.

5 out of 5 starsGreat vintage dipping pen nibs, which fit an older wood nib holder I had. I love collecting writing tools and reproductions for my little steamppunk office corner. All I need now is a comfortable chair. It will be the third reading nest in my home. It will also be nice to practice my Spencerian writing chops.

Thank you for your lovely review. Always love 'meeting' a fellow lover of writing implements. Would love to see a picture of your steampunk office corner. My imagination I am sure is not doing it justice.

5 out of 5 starsSo happy with this unique and adorable antique nut/spice roaster. I saw something similar on a cooking show and thought Etsy may be exactly where I could find it. Absolutely love it! While it does show signs of being well-loved over the years, i am certain I will get much use out of it. Also, it looks great in my kitchen! Thank you Pumpjack and Piddlewick, this is a great addition to my kitchen. Love that it came from France. My husband still has relatives there and we are planning a trip in the next few years.

Alycea / Piddlewick
Owner, Creator
I'm Piddlewick to our Pumpjack, a creative redhead with a smile. Our French finds and handmade items showcase my passions for the traditional, old-fashioned, but hopefully with a flair of a certain joie de vivre.

David / Pumpjack
Eccentric Muse
This is Pumpjack to our Piddlewick, an eccentric, mad scientist on an Einstein scale, an Oenologist, otherwise known as a wine maker. His creative juices know no bounds, and are inspirational. Oh, and he's a dab hand at making things as well.
