Absolutely love the product. Arrived a bit later than promissed but in plenty of time for the wedding. I would recommend this seller.

After some chaos with a post office mix up I received my flowers with a day to spare. They are beautiful and they really added to our special day. Angie did such a wonderful job they turned out better than I could have imagined.

Believe in yourself and love what you do!

Creating has always been a big part of who I am. When people asked me "What do you want to be when you grow up?" my answer always included something creative: a writer, an artist, a teacher. However, life threw me a few curve balls, and in 2004 I found myself dropping out of college and taking "a break." I had started a career in insurance completely by accident, and that became my life...the next several years flew by...I met a guy, bought a house, and got engaged.

With the wedding prep, I discovered a new love: event design & event planning. After being at the same insurance company for over seven years and surviving many rounds of lay-offs and restructuring, I was no longer feeling challenged, and I became restless. I decided to finally go back to school to finish my degree. Around this time, my friend was getting married and asked me for help with her planning & décor. The photos from her wedding are what I used for advertising, and so Pumpkin Florals & Crafts was born! PF&C was the perfect transition to switch careers, and in 2013 I was hired as an event planner at a local Philadelphia area wedding facility. In 2015 I was hired as a corporate event planner for a national company.

I'm still working on getting my degree while working full-time. I work on PF&C part-time, doing about 20 events a year; each one is always different and unique.

I am currently on hiatus after having my first child and expect to be back in 2017!

Flower arrangements & pumpkins are all made to order. All deposits for weddings are non refundable. Payment plan details are to be worked out and agreed upon between the shop owner and the buyer, and are finalized in writing within the etsy listing. When you pay for your item, it works as a contract between the buyer and the seller and in paying for the item and checking out you agree to all shop procedures and policies, and anything written in your custom etsy listing.
Generally items are shipped on or around 2 weeks before the event date. Sometimes during peak seasons flowers may ship a bit later than expected due to inventory restocking and high production (flowers will ALWAYS be received at least one day prior to the event date--I haven't missed a wedding deadline yet and I never intend to, even if it means I have to overnight a package at my own expense). Since flowers are set to ship 2-3 weeks before, this gives enough time in case delays happen. Exceptions can be made if flowers are needed further in advance, but must be finalized with the shop owner and written into the custom etsy listing that the buyer is purchasing. Exceptions to the production and shipping schedule must be finalized and agreed upon by the shop owner prior to purchase. Even if a shipping date is agreed upon, there will still be a window of 7-14 days after expected arrival to allow for production and post office delays.

I will always tell the post office when an item needs to be delivered and use the best method to get it there in time. I will always get a tracking number. However, I am not responsible for post office delays that are out of my control.
Examples of this are as follows (this is not a complete list, only a few examples):
Natural disasters
Government state of emergency
International item gets held up after it leaves the United States
Refunds and Exchanges
Since all orders are custom made, no refunds are given. If a customer is unhappy with the purchase I will do everything in my power to work it out, including re-designing the flowers (buyer will pay for shipping back to seller), or rearranging the flowers, but the same supplies and inventory will be used, unless if original arrangement is damaged upon arrival.
Additional policies and FAQs
I work in order of event date, just like a traditional fresh wedding florist would do. A fresh florist doesn't need to have flowers dropped off until the day of the event, and since my flowers are the closest thing to fresh, I like for the bride to also receive them close to their Big Day--it makes the experience of buying silks/real touch more similar to the experience of using a traditional florist. The "wow" moment when flowers are received the morning of the wedding is a big deal and I like for brides to have their "wow" moment close to their date like they would if they were getting fresh florals delivered.

Production on orders is done in event date order, not purchase date order. Production generally does not start on items until the final payment is made (generally 6-8 weeks before an event date), at which time supplies are purchased. Flowers are not shipped until approx. 1-2 weeks before the event date (this can vary depending on production volumes, time of year, and inventory--see Shipping Policy above) .

I hold off on production until close to the event date for a few reasons. Brides often change their minds...so if you order flowers too far in advance and then change your colors, or your favorite flower, you don't want to be stuck with a custom item that isn't returnable. So I make sure that if a bride makes any changes to her wedding plans, the flower details can be changed as well. Also since these flower orders can be quite large, brides don't have to worry about finding a place to store the flowers for months. There is also less chance of items getting damaged from being in storage.

As a designer, I sometimes have to make a minor change to an order for aesthetic reasons (this means that sometimes the design of a bouquet might call for 6 roses but I find that it looks nicer with 7 or 8, just as an example). If this happens, don't worry, there is no extra charge for any last minute changes that I do and I will always check with you beforehand. That being said, such changes are not usual--it only happens very rarely. Most of the time what I write out in a listing and what I create is made to a bride's exact specifications and vision. If something is changed, it's only changed because my professional opinion leads me to believe that whatever change I am making is for the better. I am always looking out for what is best for my clients and I'd rather re-work a bouquet than send something off that I am not 100% pleased with.
