Thanks so much for stopping by! It is my aim to provide you with quality knit wear using the best of natural yarns. I want to bring back the love of wearing something that has been hand knit just for you.

I first begin with natural yarns such as lambs wool, alpaca, mohair, pima cotton, cashmere and merino wool from Europe and the Andes.
I believe the comfort and quality of these yarns is unparalleled.

These high quality yarns are then used to make accessories and clothing that are unique and custom made for you using fair isle, cable and Norwegian designs.

I love to be able to make things for you and yours to enjoy. If you ever have any questions I'd be more than happy to help!

About

Knitting Naturally

My mother taught me how to crochet when I was around 8 years old. I began by making a small blanket for one of my dolls. It was just big enough to cover her lap.

Throughout the years I naturally started making more things, mostly simple projects like scarves, mittens, and baby clothes. I still can't help but laugh at some of the projects I did wondering just what I was thinking or how I could crochet so terribly sometimes.

With age came attention to detail and a better overall result. By my early teens I was delving into knitting and developing my own niche. It became something I loved doing and I began expanding my knitting horizons to include more and more intricate patterns and colorwork.

By the time I was 18 I was doing fair isle, cables and making socks. Since then I find I have a constant craving to knit something new or try something more difficult. It is an adventure to me, there is always something new to make, a new technique to try, a new fiber to feel, or even a new color to work with. I just love the luscious goodness of 100% natural yarns like wool, merino wool, Peruvian alpaca and cashmere. There really is nothing like them. I am definitely a firm believer in investing in quality clothing as defined in this etsy blog post : http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2011/the-history-of-a-cheap-dress/

There wasn't much selection when it came to buying quality handknit socks and accessories in 100% natural fibers so I decided to open up this shop. I wanted to provide products that were unique and handmade utilizing some of the best all natural yarns. I'm intrigued by the simple luxury of natural hand knit clothing. I have done work for countless people all over the world, been featured on blogs, giveaways, and most recently on the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire".

If you have an idea for something you would like me to make feel free to email me. I love doing custom orders!

I'm 23 and a lover of travel, and all things handmade and natural. I dream of settling down eventually someplace simple far away in a little cottage. I love my husband, coffee, children, artisan bread, morning walks and deep conversations.
