Creating beautiful, useful things for others to enjoy & use, while helping support my family & local charities.

When choosing the name of my shop, I wanted a name that didn't necessarily target what I sold - as I knew I would be selling a little bit of everything. I also wanted a name that would stick out in people's minds when they heard it. My favorite color is purple and my kids are always giving me hugs. So PurpleHug popped into my mind.

A charity close to my heart is New Hope Community Life Ministry, a local charity providing counseling and social services to the local community from a Christian perspective. I serve on the board and donate time and funds to this organization. Please know that your purchase helps me to continue to do so. Thanks!

I am active in my church and sing in the choir. I have always had musical interests and love to worship through music.
