Personalized Planners, Journals & Stationery - Handmade in Seattle, WA.

Like most small businesses, PurpleTrail started in a small office near Seattle, WA with the hope of helping you create the perfect personalized stationery.

What started as love for personalized paper products, has grown into a creative business located at the foothills of the Cascade mountain range in Issaquah, Washington where all of our products are handmade from start to finish. 

We’re passionate about making quality items and that's why we only use fine paper, high-quality materials and state-of-the art printing methods. Each product that you order from us is individually made just for you.

Customer satisfaction has always been our number one priority and that's why we offer 100% satisfaction guarantee (see refunds & exchanges section).

Although we created our Etsy shop back in 2010, we added our full line of products in April of 2016. So, come get creative with us! We look forward to having an opportunity to make a special planner, journal or other stationery for you soon!

Returns and exchange details
Customer satisfaction is our top concern and we want you to be very happy with your purchase. We are 100% sure that you will love your PurpleTrail purchase. However, if for some reason you are not satisfied with the quality of your printed order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your package. We promise to make things right.

Please understand that, due to the highly personalized nature of our products, we cannot provide refunds or free reprints, except for cases in which your printed products arrived damaged, with a manufacturing defect or with a defect in workmanship. PurpleTrail is not responsible for the following:
-- Errors in spelling, punctuation or accuracy in the text entered by the customer.
-- Poor quality resulting from the use of low-resolution, poor quality or dark images.
-- Variances in color fidelity and brightness from what you see on your computer screen.
-- Errors in user-customizable features, such as choice of colors, formatting etc.
-- Size of the item you ordered is not ideal
-- Cover type is not ideal
-- Font or text size being smaller than it appears on the screen. The printed font will be the exact size that you specify, but depending on your screen resolution and zoom level, it may appear larger or smaller on the computer.
-- Delivery to incorrect address provided during check out
-- Lost/Stolen/or miss-delivered packages due to incorrect address provided

In the case of a PurpleTrail error in producing your order, please accept our apology and be assured that we will remedy the error as quickly as possible.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards through Etsy Direct Checkout and PayPal. As we make all your items in WA we are required to collect Washington sales tax for any items shipping to an address in the state of Washington. Please note that our pricing is in US dollars.

Processing Time

Your order is typically processed and shipped from our shop within 1-3 business days. Orders received on Saturday and Sunday begin processing the following Monday.

We have the following domestic (USA) shipping options available:

Standard Shipping: 4-5 day processing + 4-5 day shipping, M-F
USPS Priority: 2-3 day processing + 3-4 day shipping, M-F
USPS Rush Priority: 1 day rush processing + 3-4 days shipping, M-F
FedEx 2 Day: 1 day rush processing + 2 day shipping, M-F
FedEx Overnight: 1 day rush processing + 1 day shipping, M-F

Pricing for each of these options can be seen after adding the item to your shopping cart.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email from Etsy with the tracking number for your package. Tracking numbers can also be viewed on the order page on Etsy after your package has shipped.

Changes of Address/Lost Packages
------------------------------------------------
Please double-check your shipping address when placing your order. We cannot make changes to shipping addresses after your order has been processed. If you notice that you provided us with an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to update your shipping information before your order ships. We are not responsible for stolen packages, miss-delivered packages, or packages shipped to incorrect address provided to us via the ordering process.
Additional policies and FAQs
Order Processing and Digital Proofs

We begin work on your item immediately after we receive and process your order. You will receive a short message from us within 1 business day of you placing your order (Monday -
Friday) along with a short recap of your order, and then your order is off to be made! We do not provide a digital proofs for approval unless you purchase the optional digital proof add-on option in our "add-ons" section.

If you purchase the digital proof add-on option, we will send you a digital proof for approval via Etsy conversation within 1 business day of placing your order. The processing time for your order does not start until your digial proof has been approved. You will have 72 hours to review and approve your digital proof. After 72 hours, if we have not received approval, we will auto approve your order exactly as shown on the digital proof in order to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Custom and personalized orders

We pride ourselves in making high quality custom products! When placing your order for one of our custom planners, mugs, cards, or other items, just let us know via the 'note to seller' how you'd like the item customized just for you! We can add names, photos, and even change quotes via one of our add-on packs!

Gift wrapping and custom notes

We are happy to gift wrap your custom item, and include a beautiful handwritten note! Just purchase the gift wrap add-on from our add-on packs, and we'll take care of the rest!

Will I get to see a digital proof of my product before printing?

We can definitely provide a digital proof for your review and approval before printing and shipping your order.
Digital proofs are available via an add-on pack in our add-on section. Orders without a digital proof add-on will not receive a digital proof.

All messages and proofs will be provided via Etsy convo, not email. Please reply to proofs via convo here on Etsy, if you reply to the automated email we will not receive your approval!

When will I receive my order?

Our standard processing and manufacturing time is 2-4 working days (orders with digital proofs are processed after proof is approved), after which time your custom item is shipped.
Shipping time depends on the shipping option chosen during checkout. We will provide a tracking number for your order after it has shipped.

Standard shipping gets your order to you in about 8-10 days. If you need your item sooner, we have faster shipping and processing options that you will see during checkout. Our fastest option of FedEx Overnight will have your order delivered within 2 business days.

I need my item fast! What can I do?

We offer FedEx 2-day and FedEx overnight shipping for domestic orders! Simply choose the expedited shipping of your choice when checking out.
Please note that FedEx 2-day, and FedEx overnight do not deliver on Saturdays.
We also offer Rush processing with most shipping options. This speeds up the processing and manufacturing time of your item to the next business day after processing/approval of proofs (if applicable).

I would like a fully customized cover

Included with all of our planners and card designs are basic changes to names, dates, and addition of photos.

For changes to colors and quotes of the designs, we offer an add-on that can be purchased along with your planner. This allows for our designers to create your custom quote or change design colors to your specifications.

We cannot create fully custom covers via Etsy for you, we can only modify our existing designs. However, if you have ready to print artwork you would like to provide, please let us know. You can also use our website to design-your-own cover and create something just how you like! Please send us a convo with any questions.

Where are my items printed?

We custom make all of our items at our studio in Issaquah, WA. All of our items are 100% made in the U.S. by our talented print and design team using only quality materials.
From beginning to end, design through manufacturing and shipping, it is all located within our shop! We never outsource your items!

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Your satisfaction is our top concern and we want you to be very happy with your purchase. Please understand that because each item is custom made for you, we cannot provide refunds, exchanges or free reprints unless it is due to an error producing your order. In the case of a PurpleTrail error, please accept our apology and contact us with the issue. We will do our best to make things right!
