Eclectic, Pretty, and Quirky - Jewellery that makes me smile.

As always, I blame my other half! He who bought me the jewellery making tools! It is entirely his fault that I spend hours of my time, and way too much of my money on jewellery making supplies - but I wouldn't have it any other way.
When I started out I was very nervous, and unsure of the pieces that I was making. However, having purchased every jewellery magazine I could get my hands on, and quite a few jewellery books as well, I soon mastered some techniques and was able to experiment.
I was naturally drawn to charm bracelets, and I still make lots of these today - but nowadays I like to experiment with the charm bracelet chains, too.
Highlights have been having my work featured in Vogue (August 2011), Bead Magazine, and Beads and Beyond Magazine. I was also thrilled to sell some quirky pieces to The British Museum to coincide with their Grayson Perry exhibition.
I am very interested in wire at the moment, and have so many ideas that it is hard to stick to one, and to actually make anything. I have too many unfinished projects to mention - but once they are finished, they will hopefully appear in my Etsy shop, and you can see what you think of them...!

I love to make jewellery. I have eclectic tastes, and make the things I like to wear. At present I am very interested in wire, and have been looking at ways to feature this more prominently in my work. Watch this space...
